While some of us have already begun tinkering with the winter wildcards, there are five games taking place today as double gameweek 20 gets underway.

The big news is that Daniel Sturridge is not in the Chelsea squad- those overnight reports of a leg injury appear to have been true, then.

Here’s the line-ups of this afternoon’s four fixtures before Arsenal make their way to the Cottage this evening:

It would be a surprise if RVP completes 90 minutes of football tonight. Wenger would not want to wear him out, especially with Chamakh and Gervinho going on African Nations duty very soon (Henry will be a bit part player at best as a loanee). Even If RVP does do well tonight, I can hope that Hatem Ben Arfa, Nani or Demba Ba will be rested this gameweek. So it's not all doom or gloom 🙂

Currently have Dyer(7) and Rangel(6) on bench. Thankfully Wilkinson didnt play so will get Rangel on, but not hopeful for one of: Nani, Valencia, Drenthe, Bale, Adebayor or Rooney not to play at all.

This game is just too cruel.

How does the double gameweek work, guys? I was away on New Year's Eve, and missed the deadline for changing a couple of my players. Will the two matches for example Tottenham and Everton will play be counted as one match on FPL?

If I change Skrtel to Walker, will that change not be counted until gameweek 21? Or will it work for the second match Tottenham plays that weekend?

  So no you cannot change your team for those double fixtures now. and the changes will now only be counted for gameweek 21
