With the elongated Gameweek 20 finally sewn up, it’s time to look ahead to the weekend action. For eight fantasy managers, that means Quarter-Final time in the Paddy Power Cup V. Having battled through eight stages, they are just one win away from the prize-winning games. Here is the line-up…

At the time of writing, first out of the hat Sc8tt26 is the highest-ranked fantasy manager left, and is the only one in the top 1000 overall. If he’s considered the top-seed, then he’s been drawn against the second in Funkyav. Was it not for an abysmal Gameweek 20 score, the tables would be turned and Funkyav would be the man to beat.

Declan faces-off against Raasclart, whilst the last round’s top-scorer, CSKA AWFUL, takes on sleepingmaster. Finally, having reached the Quarters by the skin of his teeth, ChickenDevil comes up against soulman27.

    Headaches, oh the headaches. I won't bore you with a full on rmwct but I'm torn between two teams. Ignoring everything that's the same in both the options are:

    a) Sess, Dempsey, Bellamy
    b) Sess, Ben Arfa, Aguero
    c) McClean, Walters, Aguero

    Thought Bellamy might be good shout while Suarez is banned, then can do Bellamy-> Ba later on. But front 3 of Aguero, RVP, Yak is tempting. Could use some advice...

      Ben Arfa or Moses instead of Ramsey.

      J.Evans won't play much. Get Senderos or Caulker instead. I like the rest though.

        but my philosophy is get a player from good/in form team .. they will score goals they will keep cleans ..wigan n newcastle will score 1 goal at max on average in coming fixtures while i can see arsenal scoring more than both wigan n newcastle combined so might get lucky with Ramsey.. he was awesome btw in FA cup

          But Ramsey can't shhot. I keep watching his shots sail over the bar like a conversion. He is a 3 point man and nothing more. Moses and HBA have assist and goal potential regardless who they play for. And Newcastle are a good side.
