League leaders Manchester City travel to the DW Stadium tonight, looking to put breathing space between themselves and their city rivals. The Dugout Discussion chatroom opens in anticipation of the conclusion of Gameweek 21.

Both team sheets have been handed in, and here is how they line-up on this horribly cold Monday night…

Wigan XI: Al Habsi, Stam, Alcaraz, Caldwell, Figueroa, McArthur, McCarthy, Gomez, Crusat, Rodallega, Moses.

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Nasri, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko.

Roberto Martinez continues with Albert Crusat, who manages to shake off a slight back injury to start tonight. James McArthur begins for only the third time in the league this season, replacing Mohamed Diame who is unavailable thanks to the African Cup of Nations.

Manchester City are forced to partner Jolean Lescott and Stefan Savic at centre-back once more, despite a very ropey performance in their defeat to United last weekend. Elsewhere, David Silva is restored to the starting line-up, Sergio Aguero partners Edin Dzeko up front, and Pablo Zabaleta replaces Micah Richards.

Follow all the action in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

Please fill in the blank – £13.3m to spend:

    Valencia / Bale / Dempsey / Walters / Sess

    RVP / Studge / _____?______

Current thinking is Aguero. Who’s with me?

I would go for Aguero long term. I can just see Rooney getting a decent score this week though

Judging by his home record... :

      11, 6, 1, 13, 8.

I'd say that he's a good bet for this weekend.

Wowsers - didn't realise Kun had got those kinda scores recently. I was only thinking of putting him in because of his quality / fixtures / and the fact that i've enough money. The decision is getting easier...

Kun from wk24 onwards i presume? I'd also put Rooney in for the next couple but don't want to have to make a transfer so will prob go Kun from now. Unless someone comes up with a better alternative.

This week: Ade & Jones > Aguero & Kelly
Next week: Mata > VDV (if he starts)

    Good plan? Any advice appreciated!

Could get rid of Jags instead of Jones, but then I would have to go for someone like Bent instead of Kun

Bit of a random one guys,

I know a few of you are pretty witty when it comes to fantasy team names, Me and My friend are starting new ff teams and the team name has to be 'Take That' orientated for some mad reason of his choosing.

Anyway i'm really struggling with anything decent and was wondering if any of you can come up with anything better than:

    Sorenson (Lindegard)
    Kelly, Evans, BAE (Santon, Caulker)
    Gerrard, Silva, Mata, Bale (Ben-Arfa)
    Agero Van Persie Best.

    1.0 in bank.

Morning all, Decided I`m probably doubling up on Stoke defence (Sorenson and one other) but stuck on which way to go.

I could take Santon out for Woodgate or BAE out for Huth, or even Santon for Shawcross.

    What would you do?

Had Woodgate myself at the start of the season for a punt at 4.5, he did well for the first 3 weeks but is to injured/in-out of the team. I'd stay away from him.

ShawX ahead of Huth for me, cheaper and score the same amount of points over the season (rate him more than Huth also).

hi all - this is my current team:

    Vorm/Lindergaard

    BAE / Richards / Enrique / Kelly / Simpson
    Silva / Dempsey / Bale / Sessegnon / McClean
    Aguero / RVP / Odemwingie

    0.5m in the bank

Thinking of one of the following two options:
    1. BAE to Bardsley
    2. Odem to Fletcher/Sturridge/?

    Thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks

Odem to Sturridge if you have to, but I think that's a really good team. Maybe bench Odem and play all your midfield and play a defence of Richards, Enrique and Kelly?

thanks Fratboy - i was thinking along those lines of playing my 5 midfield

my initial plan was to get rid of BAE for sunderland defensive coverage - just thinking good chance of cleansheet against swans

I'd punt at option 1... If 2 I'd go Fletcher... But you have no Chelsea player.. Hence is probably why the dilemma in the first place... But wouldn't advise on picking up Sturridge now... Hmm.. Sorry... Just went around in circles... so back to my original punt at option 1 🙂

      Lindegard, Cahill, Evans

This way you get estreme value from 2 Utd defenders,
and you guard yourself against those moronic ideas that come along once in a while -- "Hey! I will get Rooney AND Nani!! Worth it?" .... No

So think I'm going to captain Rooney from now on in.

Since he gets three to 6 points free every week that's 10 points minimum as captain every week
I suggest you all do the same

That´s enough if you´re not happy with the Rooney assists I ain´t happy with my Vermaelen 1 point that it wasn´t supposed to be taken off him...
Didn´t saw this much complaint when Agueros assist and Bps were taken off...

i think torres is playing well but weather youll get a worthy return for his price..bent is a better option i think. have to use wildcard to get bent in tho..cus used couple of transfers to get cahill n sess in..dont know weather to hold out on my wc to set myself up for after gameweek24

Going to Wildcard after GW23 has started so want to trade out Adebayor for 2 weeks until I bring in KUN.
    Have 10.1 to spend.
Was thinking Torres or Bent for a 2 week punt.
I think Torres might start to hit form while Drogba is away and could rip Norwich apart.
Other strikers are RVP & Sturridge

Wait for lineups and do Torres to Whichever MANU/CITY striker startin(from Hern/Berb/Wel/Dzeko/Balo) one week punt

    GW 24
    Wildcard!!
