Gameweek 21 proved to be a tough week all-round, as even our high-flying Paddy Power Cup V Quarter-Finalists had a trying time of it. Only three of the eight fantasy managers squeezed out a green arrow, and even their gains were slender. However, the real prize on offer was a prestigious Semi-Final place…

The highest-ranked manager in the round, Sc8tt26, was defeated by the narrowest of margins – a single point – at the hands of Funkyav. He takes over that particular mantle heading into the Semi-Finals, sitting 1,292nd overall.

Top-score this week went to Raasclart, thanks to a Nathan Dyer-inspired score of 61. Leaving the competition at his expense is Declan, who slumped to a 17-point loss. Equalling that margin of victory is sleepingmaster who advances to the money stage after beating CSKA Awful.

Completing the final four line-up is ChickenDevil, having edged past soulman27 to be the only Fantasy manager progressing with a red arrow this week.

  Tripling on Chelsea seems appealing because Norwich are alergic to cleansheets but they don't actually get battered either. I can see Chelsea scoring 1 or 2 rather than the 5 you'd need to get that tripling to really pay off.

  I’m a fan of the defence, and as a Chelsea fan I admire the grapefruits you’ve got in placing your faith in Lamps, Danny S and Fernando. Still think you’re a tad light in midfield though and not having any Spurs for the Wigan game could be unwise.
  
  But apart from that – you’re good to go.

  Who has the right to say that the Toseymaster has bad choices. I am looking forward for the day, when you will come up with the generic team. I am a big Chelsea fan so I approve Lamps but sell Torres please. He is not worth even one GW punt. Something will happen in mean time so you will have to keep him. Also big fan on Verm, but I decided to give him some time to recover well then I could easily swap him for G.J.

  Hmm I tend to chop and change depending on the situation. Sometimes early in the week to save money and sometimes later in the week to ensure players play. Friday conferences (and later in the week in general) can be good when assessing whether players are potentially coming back from injury etc

  hinges on a few things. if rooney or aguero or dare i say it, torres were to catch fire and i didnt own them at the time, i may sell immediately, depending on how concrete the timetable is for his return. He had a spell last season if i recall where his expected time back from an injury wasnt very close to his actual return.

i went to bed last evening knowing of no row between sturridge and AVB. now i wake up and there's not only a spat, Pool are already saying they are ready to buy. I love it. Classic move. Even if they had no real intent, it certainly adds to the disruption at the Bridge.

FPL says Kompany is suspended until Jan 31st (day of the Everton game). Does this mean he is available TO PLAY Everton or he will become available AFTER the Everton game?
