Roberto Mancini welcomes back Micah Richards and Mario Balotelli for City, while Ledley King could make a surprise return for opponents Tottenham. Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are back for United, though Mikel Arteta is ruled out for Arsenal ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

Wes Brown and Titus Bramble could return for Sunderland. David Moyes is without a host of first-team players. There’s better news for Mick McCarthy who welcomes back Roger Johnson, Kevin Foley, David Edwards and Matt Jarvis.

      Cahill, Kelly, Raylor all could be fighting for a place in the team every week. Quite a risk for a WC draft - suggest getting more nailed-on options.

        Cheers think I'm moving Cahill out. But only problem for another rotation risk in Clichy.
        I could go Senderos for Kelly, but at 3.9 kelly is a snip. Also Senderos has 4 yellow cards.
        I can see Raylor most weeks.

      thinking the exact thing myself.
      I can't afford Richards at the moment and I think Clichy could be a cheaper way to a city defender.
      H will start probably 75% of the time, so just for that 25% make sure your first sub is good.

        thesteady - Richards rotates with his own injuries anyway.
        fb - clichy and richards have played the same minutes this season so i quite like the idea of saving 0.7 and losing out on richards' potential assists.

          not the worst transfer in the world, but you'll be praying for the team sheet every week to say Clichy. Not worth the stress imo haha.

      I'd obviously rather have Richards or Kompany but I think Clichy is a decent option - If Man City are playing more conservatively now then the loss of attacking points could be nominal anyway. Once the EL starts up again, I could see Kolorov being the choice for that and Clichy for the PL.

      I'd play Jones on the basis that he could be OOP in midfield.

    What do you think about Torres in for Aguero, and a straight swap back next week (esp. if Torres bombs)? Getting him in as my third striker involves too much player swapping. I don't see a high-scoring match in Spurs v Man City and this could be Torres' perfect chance to get back on track.

      He's been playing as a deep striker or wide. I don't think it makes much difference to Dempsey, who will probably start wide left, with Ruiz off Zamora and probably Duff right, with Mur... (no I won't write it) and Sids in CM.

      Still a strong goal threat however, is Demps.

      Nope.. but its a generally not a good idea to get involved in a dispute with a gypsy.

      They don't pay tax, they don't vote, pay bills etc. They do something to you, they can disappear, very hard for the police to track them down.

      That said, you shouldn't ever really get into a fight with anyone.. but just saying.
