After a thrilling day of Premier League action yesterday, Super Sunday has a lot to live up to – and it just might. Four of the top five play each other, in what could prove be a monumental day in the 2011-12 season. Needless to say, the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open for business, so come is and share your thoughts on the day’s action as they unfold.

It all starts at the Etihad Stadium, where league leaders Manchester City face a Tottenham Hotspur side eager to establish themselves as title contenders. The team news is in…

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Defoe.

Once again Roberto Mancini cannot call upon the services of their suspended captain fantastic Vincent Kompany, but welcome Micah Richards back into the fold. Edin Dzeko continues up front with Sergio Aguero.

A huge boost for the visitors sees their captain and defensive rock, Ledley King, named amongst the starting eleven after missing the last five league games. Elsewhere, Jermain Defoe starts, replacing the ineligible Emmanuel Adebayor.

Once the dust has settled in Manchester, we turn our attention to the capital. Manchester United will be looking to capitalise on any dropped points from the earlier game, and Arsenal are seeking redemption from the humiliation at the hands of the Champions in the reverse fixture. In case your memory has failed you, it was 8-2.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom can be accessed right here.

Repost from last post, got a few responses but would like a few more:

Is there a defence other than City you can play every week? Was going to keep Enrique for that but not sure after yesterday and with his fixtures. Currently looking at:

    Richards Simpson Brown Evans Kelly

Play Richards every week and rotate Simpson/Brown and Evans/Kelly

Who knows? It's not like they have that many options at CB with Vidic out and Ferdinand struggling. Even if he plays 1 in 2 I think he's good value though, just have to make sure you've got decent subs.

reasons why richards will never play centre back:
    1) savic is currently a better cb
    2) i can't even remember the last time richards played cb, can you? 2007? 2008?
    2) richards is first choice rb

      1) the FA cup next week was the logical time for cahill to debut

        1) Cahill was a calculated gamble re price rise after transfer. Most teams blood new signings immediately, unless they are carrying injury.
        2) Where? Mostly in the top 7000...This is my first bad week
        3) Someone said Dawson was nailed on in these comments. I had BAE but changed to Dawson last minute to afford Fletcher etc etc.
I'm bringing in Wheater after this

I am unsure if I'll keep Sess in my WC-team after the Norwich match. Sunderland are then facing a less than easy run of fixtures and I'm considering getting him out for someone else. HBA is on my radar as well, but have to see how Pardew decides to rotate him with Raylor and the rest..

Yeah Sess fixtures aren't geat, but not sure there's a better option for that price especially with the form he's in. Even in tough games Sunderland will prob get goals, and Sess looks most likely to get them.

I hate going into todays matches looking for very specific outcomes due to mini-league standings.

FWIW...I would like to see no clean sheets. Rooney and Aguero do have 2 pointers. Bale to do well. Silva to do really well and RVP to get 5/6 points.

    Not too much to ask.

Fantasy Football aside for the moment. I think we are in for 2 real crackers today. As a fan of the game, i really hope both Spurs and Gunners give both Man teams a run for their money.

Can Spurs continue their rise to the top of the table?
Can Gunners seek revenge from being humiliated?

In N. America today is the semi final for the NFL and i could care less.

6 mins to kick off. Can't Wait!!!!!!

Really could do with Spurs keeping Silva & Aguero quiet today.

Worried about Aguero's pace/quick turns on the ball against Kaboul & Ledley though.

    COYS!
