After a thrilling day of Premier League action yesterday, Super Sunday has a lot to live up to – and it just might. Four of the top five play each other, in what could prove be a monumental day in the 2011-12 season. Needless to say, the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open for business, so come is and share your thoughts on the day’s action as they unfold.

It all starts at the Etihad Stadium, where league leaders Manchester City face a Tottenham Hotspur side eager to establish themselves as title contenders. The team news is in…

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Defoe.

Once again Roberto Mancini cannot call upon the services of their suspended captain fantastic Vincent Kompany, but welcome Micah Richards back into the fold. Edin Dzeko continues up front with Sergio Aguero.

A huge boost for the visitors sees their captain and defensive rock, Ledley King, named amongst the starting eleven after missing the last five league games. Elsewhere, Jermain Defoe starts, replacing the ineligible Emmanuel Adebayor.

Once the dust has settled in Manchester, we turn our attention to the capital. Manchester United will be looking to capitalise on any dropped points from the earlier game, and Arsenal are seeking redemption from the humiliation at the hands of the Champions in the reverse fixture. In case your memory has failed you, it was 8-2.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom can be accessed right here.

Where's the red card for Balotelli? Banning him retrospectively isn't going to give back 2 points to Spurs.

This is simply not true imo, 4vets. Even after loads of replays we're debating if it was intentional or not, stopping the game to make a quick decision with video would be bad for the game imo.

I take it you think West Brom, Stoke, Wigan and West Ham should retrospectively be given 2/3 points for when Neville, Neville, Rooney and Vidic should have been sent off last season.

I can't see it having a massive impact as bothe Bale and Silva are around 41-42% ownership. You may get lucky and have 5000 directly people above you who don't have them 😛

My stab at BPs having just seen the match - extremely difficult to call this one as there were so many scorers.

    3/2: Nasri/Silva
    1: Bale
    Backup: Balotelli, Lescott

    -10: Savic

I did go with Lamps(C) but no captain has really hurt my rank that badly. I'm hoping that Rooney stays quiet and RVP keeps the scoring down to a minimum. Also Valencia scoring big would be great.

So far you haven't really been hurt yeah. It's a right edgam. At least fewer people than usual would captain RVP and Rooney. Went for Roo myself :S
