After a thrilling day of Premier League action yesterday, Super Sunday has a lot to live up to – and it just might. Four of the top five play each other, in what could prove be a monumental day in the 2011-12 season. Needless to say, the Dugout Discussion chatroom is open for business, so come is and share your thoughts on the day’s action as they unfold.

It all starts at the Etihad Stadium, where league leaders Manchester City face a Tottenham Hotspur side eager to establish themselves as title contenders. The team news is in…

Man City XI: Hart, Richards, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Barry, Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko.

Spurs XI: Friedel, Walker, Kaboul, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Parker, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart, Defoe.

Once again Roberto Mancini cannot call upon the services of their suspended captain fantastic Vincent Kompany, but welcome Micah Richards back into the fold. Edin Dzeko continues up front with Sergio Aguero.

A huge boost for the visitors sees their captain and defensive rock, Ledley King, named amongst the starting eleven after missing the last five league games. Elsewhere, Jermain Defoe starts, replacing the ineligible Emmanuel Adebayor.

Once the dust has settled in Manchester, we turn our attention to the capital. Manchester United will be looking to capitalise on any dropped points from the earlier game, and Arsenal are seeking redemption from the humiliation at the hands of the Champions in the reverse fixture. In case your memory has failed you, it was 8-2.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom can be accessed right here.

Someone on here persuaded me to bench Nani and play both Bale and Valencia instead.

Not sure who it was, but thanks 😀 I changed Valencia to Nani sub 1 min before the deadline, usually I get these kind of decisions horribly wrong 😛

Any other midfield than Silva - Bale - Demps - Sess - Val is ridiculous atm.

No, mean generally. Cheap strikers are doing the business.

The same can't be said for defenders and midfielders (aside from Sess at the moment).

Wenger takes off his best player, replaces him with his most out-of-form player, who lets United in for the winner.

When are Arsenal's owners going to realise that Wenger is taking this club backwards?

Well I have Bale, Dempsey, Sess, and Silva. Shame I couldn't have finished off the ultimate 5 with valencia. Think I might have to downgrade one of rooney or aguero sometime soon though and get him in. Wellbeck and valenica look more than enough coverage.
