Super Sunday left Sky Sports salivating after both Manchester clubs completed the double over their north London counterparts to end the gameweek. With the FA Cup next weekend, we’ve a nine day wait until the next lot of fixtures but, for just now, it’s time to analyse the key statistics from our Members area and make a stab at the destination of the Fantasy Premier League bonus points…

RvP, Morison and one of Aguero or Bent

Bent looks like he's coming back into form, if that's the case he's worth a buy.

    RMT, 0.0 in bank

    Lindegaard
    Kompany | Vermaelen | BAE | Richards | Caulker
    Silva | Valencia | Dempsey | Bale | Sessegnon
    RVP | Sturridge | Morrison

Not sure about Sturridge and Morrison, have 12.8 if i take out them two out, any other suggestion for two forwards for 12.8?

I'd lose BAE for someone like Senderos, maybe get 2 from Zamora, Welbeck and Bent. Bent is obviously more, but looks like he's coming back into form and has some tasty fixtures right up until the time Ba is back. I'd also lose one of your mids, who will you bench every week?

Any other Walters owners severely disappointed? I WC'd him in AND captained him for his grand score of 0.

Repost, would love some help with this.

Was planning to WC next week but considering doing it now to catch price rises. Current team is:

    Vorm (Sorensen)
    Enrique Simpson Evans (BAE Jones)
    Silva Bale Sess (Walters Surman)
    RVP Sturridge (Rooney?)

Players in brackets are the ones who will be going in the WC. Want to get Richards, Dempsey and Aguero instead. Just not sure about ditching Rooney before Stoke at home. But could get Welbeck instead of Sturridge to cover United?

So, wildcard this week or not?

You probably never saw Pele, and maybe not even Maradona. Messi is a truly great player, but let's wait until he's retired before we give him the ultimate accolade. For me, Pele's 1281 or so goals will take some beating.

What do people think of Sturridge -> Welbeck?
    Saves some money.
Welbeck looking much more into the game at the moment compared to Sturridge, especially with the rise of Torres (slowly coming about). Looked as thought welbeck was dangerous and in the right positions today.

I just see welbeck being dangerous to any defence at the moment, even with the fixtures its against stoke at home, then chelsea who aren't that great in defence at the moment. And then Liverpool after that, and we saw yesterday that their defence isn't all that. Should be playing the players rather then the fixtures... for me.

I disagree with that. Welbeck is capable of carving out his own chances he's quick strong and not afraid to put himself on the line (see his goal v Bolton) and but for Merterzacker he would have had a brace today, he was superb.

but we don't know how much game time he will see yet. The man I'm gonna monitor at QPR is Tarrabt when he gets back. If Hughes can get him going we may finally have the FPL prospect we all thought we'd have at the start of the season.

I can see things being even worse next week for my defence - got to pick 3 from Enrique (wol), Clark (QPR), Evans (STO), Bardsley (NOR), Raylor (bla).

Not sure what to do about Raylor if he's presumably lost his place - prevented Clark coming off the bench but on the bright side he got 2 more points than Simpson. 😀

Also got Torres whom I have no idea what to do with. :S Is it worth changing him to another striker after only being in my team for one game? Aguero and Rooney who I could get instead both drew blanks this gameweek.

It's not like it's his first incident of thuggery.
I know he's a colourful character and all that, and always a talking point, but you can't give him leeway because of that. He's as bad as Joey Barton except he does it with a smile rather than a snarl.

I think that is a harsh comparison Granville.

I won't defend him more on today's incident but Joey Barton has been jailed for 70+ days for assault and beat up Ousmane Dabo (4 month suspension). Balotelli is stupid but he's never done anything truly violent.

He was lucky that the stamp didn't connect better today tbh or the story might have been different.

He's had 2 training ground fights with Boateng and Richards.

Absolutely fair enough regarding the diving. Wouldn't think those two training grounds fight either are comparable to what Joey Barton did still. Dabo said he looked like elephant man and that youth player who had a cigarette stubbed IN HIS EYE by Barton probably didn't feel too good about it either.
