    Made the mistake of putting Eurosport on during the break. What a terrible advert for African football. The pitch is a disgrace. Mud and puddles everywhere. Terrible football.

        It's not that commendable playing in such conditions. It just lowers the standards of the football and doesn't offer anything. Don't remember previous ACON having such poor pitches.

          I don't think they can afford to postpone matches, they played 2 one the same pitch tonight. There are no off days like in World Cups or Euros because clubs want their players back ASAP.

    Fed up with the comentators sticking up for the unlucky pen.

    So what if it hit his leg first, it would have hit his other outstretched arm if his leg hadn't deflected it onto his other other outstretched arm ?!!

    You can't just make yourself as big as possible and then look the other way & pretend you didn't mean it ?

    If it hits your arm when your body is behind your arm I think it is harsh. If it hits your arm when they are outstretched, tuff shlt.

    Coming from a United fan as well. I hope they both lose !!

        Well look at it this way, if he was standing on the goal-line and it hit his leg then his arm would that be a pen? I'd expect most people's answer would be yes. It shouldn't matter where he was the ball was heading into the net.
