After a frenetic Deadline Day Tuesday that saw an abundance of big-name moves, such as Nikica Jelavic to Everton (massive), the Dugout Discussion returns to complete Gameweek 23. We’ve got five more Premier League fixtures to pour over tonight, but with most of the big-hitters on show yesterday, fantasy points may be a little thin on the ground.

We start at Villa Park with a slightly earlier kick-off, where Alex McCleish’s side play host Mark Hughes’ Queens Park Rangers. The other four games get under way on the hour, including the televised game at the Stadium of Light between Sunderland and Norwich City (definitely worth watching ahead of Valencia Vs. Barcelona).

There’s also Blackburn Rovers versus Newcastle United, Arsenal travel to the Reebok Stadium to face Bolton Wanderers, and a Bobby Zamora-less Fulham welcome the visit of Roy Hodgson’s West Bromich Albion.

Follow all the action in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which will remain open until all the dust has settled from what has already been an eventful Gameweek 23.

So, who else gave up of this year? 🙂 I mean, after the double game week fiasco I simply could not recover from it, even playing the WC. 25 last week, disaster this week...

Next year I will do a lot of things different, like trust my players from the beginning. Spent weeks with Sess scoring 2 before his blossom... took out Raylor when I should had not... Well, last year top 100k, this year 700k.

At least no more anger 😛

Sessegnon ended the streak of wonder goals scored by Sunderland since MON's arrival. Although you could argue his was a great goal too, especially the build up.

Sessegnon's 5 goals this season have scored against Bolton, QPR, Swansea, Norwich and Wigan.

I reckon when fixtures toughen up he won't score many points.
