Having wrapped up the previous gameweek in this afternoon’s digest post, we can now turn our attentions to this weekend and beyond. Once again, we bring the fixtures list under review, assessing the weak and the strong from the upcoming fixture schedule…

Before we begin, non-members may note we now have a demo version of the ticker available to try, using data from the 2010/11 season. For those unfamiliar with the intricacies of the ticker, click on this handy “how-to” link for further explanation:

The Strong

Fulham

Given that Man City had won all eleven of their previous home games, Saturday evening‘s Etihad loss was hardly unexpected for Martin Jol’s men. The upcoming fixture schedule should afford the Cottagers a chance to bounce back, though, with some promising gameweeks on the horizon.

Three home clashes in the next five look prosperous, as Stoke, Wolves and Swansea all make their way to the Cottage. Jol’s side have dropped just five points in their last six in front of their own fans, and have scored 22 goals at home, only 2 less than Tottenham.

A trip to QPR, with Mark Hughes’ side yet to record a clean sheet under his leadership, and a visit to Villa Park – where the hosts have two points from their last six at home – should hold no fear for the London outfit. With Clint Dempsey looking set to remain in an advanced attacking role, his Fantasy suitors will continue to grow, though with a single clean sheet in the last ten, defensive returns haven’t been as guaranteed as we’d hoped for.

QPR

It all seemed so promising last Saturday. One-nil up thanks to a Bobby Zamora debut goal, Mark Hughes’ side were bossing the game against Wolves but Djibril Cisse’s red card turned the match in the visitors’ favour and saw QPR taste defeat for the first time under their new manager.

Having scored 5 goals and picked up four points in the previous two games under Hughes, there’s a clear upturn in performance since the departure of Neil Warnock and, providing they can keep eleven men on the pitch, their prospects looks enhanced over the next few gameweeks. Back-to-back home games with Fulham and Everton are sandwiched by trips to Blackburn and Bolton; all offer the chance of goals, as Hughes looks to replicate the Martin O’Neill effect down Loftus Road way.

Hughes has already spoken of the importance of Adel Taarabt- the Moroccan could be a key figure over the next few matches. The set-pieces of Joey Barton could be instrumental, with Zamora charged with grabbing the goals in Cisse’s subsequent three-match absence.

Wigan

Without a win in their last nine matches, the Latics hardly inspire confidence. Nevertheless, the fixture list remains kind to Roberto Martinez’s side and could yet prove prosperous. Villa, Swansea and West Brom all roll up to the DW over the next five gameweeks and offer the chance of Fantasy points- Wigan have been beaten just once in their last five home games, holding the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool and narrowly losing to City.

Trips to Bolton and Norwich both offer potential, with the likes of Hugo Rodallega (with 23 points in his last four starts) likely to be pivotal if Martinez is to mastermind a climb up the table. Jean Beausejour could prove a real differential; the winger grabbed an assist and the maximum bonus in his home debut against Everton, while we’ll always hold out hope for the enigma that is Victor Moses.

Man City

Roberto Mancini’s side ready themselves for three home matches in the next five, with two of those in particular looking full of goals. Blackburn and Bolton roll up to the Etihad in gameweeks 26 and 27 respectively and Fantasy investment in the league leaders looks set to mushroom, with Sergio Aguero and, to a lesser extent, David Silva, strong armband candidates. Given that City have scored 3 or more goals in ten of their twelve home games, the potential is obvious here.

City will need to up their goal threat for trips to Villa and Swansea, though. The league leaders have been toothless on their travels of late, scoring just once in their last four away games and returning a couple of clean sheets in the process; Micah Richards and Vincent Kompany-if he recovers from a knee problem- look set to benefit from such defensive resolve.

Also Consider

Chelsea – the 3-3 draw with United extended their unbeaten run to five and brought Juan Mata back into consideration. Home games with Bolton and West Brom are amongst the Blues’ next four, affording the Blues further opportunity to produce the Fantasy points.

Newcastle – trips to Spurs and Arsenal are far from easy, but with Demba Ba scoring 8 of his 16 goals on the road, the prospect of returns is far from diminished. Three strong home fixtures against Wolves, Sunderland and Norwich afford Ba and Papiss Demba Cisse the chance for goals, with the likes of Tim Krul and Danny Simpson offering defensive options at the back.

Aston Villa – Alex McLeish’s side have impressed on their travels of late, winning three and drawing one of their last five. With Darren Bent is fine goalscoring fettle, trips to Wigan and Blackburn and a home clash with Fulham look tempting.

The Weak

Liverpool

Kenny Dalglish’s side have netted just 4 times in their last five, with Craig Bellamy grabbing half of those goals. The return of Luis Suarez failed to breach a resilient Tottenham back-line, with the Anfield no-score draw returning their third clean sheet since gameweek 20.

Clashes against United and Arsenal will test their defensive resolve, though, and with a blank gameweek 26 due to Carling Cup commitments in addition to a trip to Sunderland, many will be giving Liverpool a wide berth over the short-term.

Everton

David Moyes’ side may well have three home fixtures in the next five, but when you consider the visitors are Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal, the appeal considerably lessens. The Toffees have been grinding out the points of late, with the 1-1 draw at Wigan taking their unbeaten run to four, but have picked up a single clean sheet in their last six and have failed to score more than 1 goal in the last twelve gameweeks.

Factor in that blank gameweek 26 and it seems likely that owners of Leighton Baines will likely be seeking options elsewhere and, unless the introduction of Steven Pienaar and Nikica Jelavic can produce an upturn in attacking fortunes, goals are looking a rarity, too.

Tottenham

Harry Redknapp’s side are set for a truly testing time, as they face up to a run of fixtures which includes clashes with four of the top six over the next six gameweeks.

Home games against Newcastle and United, in addition to cross-town trips to Arsenal and Chelsea, will test the resolve of a defence which has harvested 9 clean sheets so far this season. Fantasy owners of Benoit Assou-Ekotto could see diminished returns, and with Emmanuel Adebayor netting once in his last nine games, it appears Gareth Bale is the only clear Fantasy asset worth targeting, or holding onto, over the upcoming period.

Also Be Wary Of…

Stoke – Tony Pulis’ side have a couple of strong home fixtures with Swansea and Norwich around the corner, but, aside from those two games, the next six gameweeks look awful. Trips to Chelsea, Spurs and Fulham and a home clash with City all look likely to disappoint. With just 5 goals and 2 clean sheets in their last eight games, the Potters are not exactly in the best of form right now.

Arsenal – the next four gameweeks look a real test for the armband potential of Robin Van Persie. The Dutchman’s 23 point haul against Blackburn justified many a Fantasy manager’s decision to hand him the captaincy but trips to Sunderland and Liverpool, and home showdowns with Spurs and Newcastle, could see many look for alternatives.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Dempsey for Walters is a massive no-brainer to me. For a hit though.......mmmmm.......just about worth it.

Walters will do sweet FA (away from home, not OOP anymore and even a rumour he might not be on pens anymore after his last miss) whereas at least Dempsey gives you the chance of big points and is captn material this GW

Bit of a sideways transfer, but with the doubts surrounding Kompany is it worth be doing Kompany -> Richards with my free this week?

Over the long term Komp is a better fantasy option. Simply because when he's fit he will play every game- club captain and all that.

But Richards could always be rotated with Zabaletta so you might miss the odd city cleanie.

Having said that I'm a Richards owner and love watching him getting forward for city. You always feel every week there is a chance for a goal or an assist.

      Hope that helped 😉

      Not in my opinion.
I always fear for city clean sheets when Kompany doesn't play so if he's not playing I don't want a City defender away from home.
Take care of the Huth problem with your free transfer. If Komp plays he plays, if he doesnt you have your sub (and nxt 3 gwks) sorted.
I like Chelsea's fixtures while he's out and Bosingwa gives attacking potential too.

OR gamble on Huth to Clichy so your doubled up on city for the two home games (if Clichy plays)

Bosingwa is probably the most at risk of being dropped. Cashley is back at LB and Ivan had a cracking game against Utd so I don't see where he will fit in.

If one were to take a punt on one of the cheaper Chelsea DF then it's gotta be Cahill who might, just might take Luiz's spot after some high profile mistakes recently.

Both a big gamble though (but I will take the Cahill gamble maybe next week)

Yeah, I'm still not sure on that one.
I see bos has started 9 of the last 10 games for Chelsea and he's been defending much better, seems like AVB has him doing what he wants most of the time now so I dont think he'll be dropped, he's so quick and attacking and AVB likes that.

Regarding Cahill I brought him in with my WC and I'm regretting it. Keeping for another 2 weeks at least so we'll see on that one....my fingers are crossed he stays in cos if he does he'll get both goals and clean sheets for sure

Yeh I'm bringing in Cahill with the full knowledge it's a huge gamble. I think AVB is a big fan of Luiz so I just can't see him being dropped. But if he does then I want those Bol(h) and WBA(a)_games

Same here. I hope AVB wakes up and sees that Cahill is twice the defender Luiz is.
Luiz is a fantastic athlethe and I'd actually play him at RB and let him run riot like Richards cos he's yrs away from baing a top PL centre half

I did think about Clichy, but then realised I already have 3 MCY players! Huth has to go now, but should I do it this week and put Caulker as 1st sub, or have 2 freebies next week? The problem this week is there aren't many great fixtures for players I'd want over the short/medium term!

I'd take care of Huth this week but if you don't mind the price drop then do it next week and just stick with the two Swansea lads.

Theres always Fulham if you don't mind doubling up on those 3 home games in nxt 5.

With doubts over Kompany and Rodellega and to a lesser extent Kelly, I need to get rid of Huth. Right? But for who? Was planning to switch him for Evans in GW28. Should I just bring forward the transfer? Any one else I should be looking at? Fulham and City defence already covered. Can't get newcastle as I will have Krul and Double Demba for GW26,27.

PS Getting rid of huth this week will mean that I need to make a hit next week for Aguero and Papisto.

Worth doing it this week if it means I need to do a hit next week? Evans will probably be on my bench 2 of the next 3 weeks. I think it is worth a hit, because it will ensure I can play 11 each week, and as it was a planned transfer anyway, it will give me another free transfer later down the line.

You are not really in a position to gamble (with players who are already doubts in your squad) or I woud suggest a punt on Cahill.

But you can't really do that so I'd go for Evans who will get you game time at least even if fixtures arent with him until GW28. But Caulker is another great shout. Great first game to have him for as well with the canaries at home.

    Mignolet (Krul)
    Kelly Richards Caulker
    Dempsey(c) Siggs(vc) Silva Bale Sess
    RVP Aguero

    Bench: Morison Simpson Huth

I've used my FT and I'm not looking to do any more transfers this week. But have got a few questions:
    1) Capt and vice-capt choices ok?
    2) Sub order ok?
    3) Krul or Mignolet this GW? (bad week for their rotation)
    4) What to do with Huth should he have his red card rescinded?

    2 questions for you chaps...

    1) If I do Huth -> JEvans this week, would you start him over any of Kompany, Rangel or Caulker?

    2) What CHE coverage are people getting in from GW26 onwards? Mata looks the best candidate, but I think I'd have to lose a big hitter to get him. Assuming I do 1) above, best way of getting Mata in to this lot in GW26?

    Sorenson, Schwarzer
    Kompany, JEvans, Simpson, Caulker, Rangel
    Silva, Bale, Dempsey, Sigurdsson, Moses
    RVP, Aguero, Ba

I like the Huth to Kelly idea - all seem to rotate well until GW 28.

With 1.6 mill you're defo looking at a point hit to get attacking cover.
What you said above looks ok, its the Dzeko/Balo gamble that would put me off it tho.

Might be Chelsea defensive cover is the best way to go, Chelsea havent really played well since the beat Man City the begining of December so do you really need Chelsea attacking cover?
Looking really far down the line I think your front 3 looks brilliant as does your midfield apart from Moses. I'd just upgrade Moses for McClane and keep your cash to do Aguero - Rooney in GW28. When the season gets serious (and United fixtures get easier) I expect Rooney to deliver and I'll defo be bringing him in!
          But thats just me 🙂

Cheers again! What do you think about saving the freebie this week and playing Kompany, Rangel and Caulker at the back, and then next week doing Huth and Bale -> Cahill (or another NEW defender) & Mata (for free)? I'd lose 0.3-0.4m on Bale, but he has ars and MUN in GW26/27, and I still have my wildcard so could bring him back in during GW28?

Defense this wk looks good, if Komp plays. Ya gotta decide yourself if Simpson, Evans or Kelly is your preferred sub if he doesnt.

As for the Bale thing, well its a big gamble so it depends how you like to play the game 🙂
I kinda play safe I guess whereas my brother loves the gamble so he does two subs every week regardless, its just boring for him without that flutter.

'I' wouldn't take Bale out even for those games because I think he's fixture proof. Arsenal aren't great at the back and Bale murdered them last yr.
United aren't great at the back either and altho in Antonio Valencia and Jones they prob have about the only players in the league powerful and quick enough to live with bale for 90 mins, I still expect Bale to do something.

Problem for me is I'm not just not convinced enough to trust Chelsea or Mata but if you expect them to spank BOL, wb and STK then I say do it cos your gut is often the best thing to go with in this game! Drogba being back may mean you're right and you'll be sick if chelsea score 3 in every game and youre without Mata.

Whats your thinking anyway, why so keen on the Blues?

      1) No probably not. Although you could lose one of the Swans players if you don't want to double-up?
      2) Sadly my only Chelsea coverage will be Cahill (who probably won't even get on the pitch). Just cant find a way to fit Mata in (who is the only person worthy of consideration imo). Unless Sess rises another 4million or so......... 😕

If you are so set on getting Mata that you are willing to sacrafice the player who is 2nd ONLY to RVP on this game then go for it.

Food for thought though: Mata's points against these easy clubs:
          Swans(h)-3 QPR(a)-1 B'burn(h)-3 Wig(a)-3 Villa(h)-2 Wolv(a)-3 Nor(a)-3

So just because he has the fixtures doesnt mean he will always score the points

My wife is planning on downgrading RVP to Aguero for GW26,27. Then either getting him back, or Rooney if he hits form. She got in RVP real late, so will only lose 0.1m. But with aquafresca's comment about Villa's horrible defence, i'm wondering if its worth making the switch this week.

So for this week only, RVP v sun, or Aguero v avl?

Does your wife even know she has a team? If she's anything like my Chinese missus then she only knows Beckham, Owen, Lampard and Rooney. Not much use for making a fantasy team.

To answer your question though, I'd wait a week just to see if RVP can carry his form on to the next GW. Plus Aguero is usually not so good away from home whereas RVP doesnt seem to be affected by travelling away. Feel both players could easily get a low score this week (which sucks as they are my strike partnership this week 🙁 )

There's a few options for captain this week, it's really going to divide opinion more than last week. I think the only issue last week was over RVP's risk of being rested, otherwise it was a no-brainer.

    Pros and Cons:
RVP - Sunderland have conceded 3 in 7 matches, one of those was a baines penalty that never should have been a penalty (Osman tripped over himself) another was an incredibly lucky Chelsea goal that bounced off Lampard. With Oxlade, there is an extra outlet for goals that might reduce RVP's monopoly

Dempsey - The hatrick against NewC has got people excited but remember Zamora played a big role in that game plus the nature of the second half was berserk and very unlike Newcastle lately. A possible one off. I still feel he will score against Stoke however.

Bale - Only one of his goals has come against Top half opposition. out of his 10, 3 have been scored against Wigan, other braces have been against Norwich and QPR, who have poor defence records.

Aguero - Hasn't scored an away goal in 16 matches

Rooney - tends to score in spurts, 5 in 5 at the start of the season, 3 in 3 2 months ago, could be the start of another one

Really tough one this week. I'm probably gonna go for dempsey. Especially with huth out. Other option for me is Bale. But that would be to hedge my bets in case he scores against us! I saw another potential option to add to your list. A couple of people were suggesting siggy yesterday. Home against norwich. Could be genius. I'm on Dempsey right now.

But a left-field choice could definitely be Sigurdsson. He's averaging 6.5pts per-game and is playing a leaky Norwich side at home. As mentioned in the previous article Swans are much more of a force going forward these days, are very strong at home and Siggs is on set-pieces and at the heart of everything they do.

He's my vice-capt this week but I'm trying to muster the balls to upgrade him to capt

A home player thats on penos is usually the way to go - that leaves Rooney and Dempsey

      However
Newcastle wont live with Spurs at the lane I'm sure of this. Yes, 5 V Fulham was a one off but they also shipped 3 at Liverpool, 3 V WBA, 4 at Norwich, 3 V Chelsea.

Spurs will dominate possession, Parker and Modric will see to that and Newcastle dont have Cabaye or Tiote so I see that makeshift midfield struggling badly.

I predict 3 for Spurs which puts Bale back in the captain conundrum.

I have Demp, Bale and RVP - but I'm leaning towards Bale for (c)

Think Murphy is on pens if that helps your Dempsey decision.

Actually agree with your Spurs v Newc asessment but not sure it sways me towards Bale as capt.

I'm going Dempsey as he's striker and the focal points of Fulhams attacks. If Fulham score theres a huge chance it will be Dempsey (or at least assisted by him)

Norwich, we had Perch and Danny Simpson centre back. Both under 6ft against Holt and Morrison!
Chelsea, we lost Colochinni at half time, and Saylor before the end. They scored 2 goals in injury time!!

Madness. Chelsea are crap. They have played awful lately. What about blowing a 3 goal lead strikes you as a team that is improving. Offensively, espeically, they have been terrible for several weeks. Stay clear of all of their players. I'm willing to bet right now that of those 3 great fixtures, they only win one, if that. Mata is an especially bad decision because of how typically he follows up a good performance with absolutely nothing for weeks on end. For that price, it doesn't get better than Bale.

      stay clear.

Chelsea are crap: it has been so much more than just the latest run. It's all year, thanks to horrible tactics. Really, their home form all year is espeically poor, meaning they'll probably drop points to Stoke and Bolton. Even when Drogba was around, Mata wasn't doing much.

There is an argument for Sturridge, but Ba is just better in every way. Natural goalscorer, in a team playing well, focusing on his strengths, and on penos. Sturridge can't boast any of that.

now list the teams that bolton and stoke haven't beaten away, and west brom at home.
you made a valid point than ruined it by embellishing it way too much, no crime there.

My point is that Chelsea drops points in the easy fixtures. It doesn't matter what stoke and bolton have done away. (Like, I don't know, beat Liverpool, 3-1)

The fact is, Chelsea has a ton of games they should win easily, and they honestly don't have the team to take those games in stride. They drop points, and their form as of late has given us no reason to think that will stop. I find it really hard to see them winning 2 of those 3. It is just that those are the EXACT kind of games they have not won this year.

you seem to be confusing some with all. chelsea have lost one home game this season against a poor team. by definition they're favourites to win all 3 games, as bookies odds will suggest, and common sense (being 4th in the league) would back up.
seriously i'm trying be helpful here, by trying to have your point taken more seriously by embellishing it a bit and padding it out all you've done is get it taken less seriously. it was the first thread i've read tonight and i couldn't resist. fair enough if you were trying to sell something to jinswick, then you're just doing your job. seriously you seem to have your finger on the ball which is why i don't think you need to bother exaggerating things to get taken seriously, it just wastes your time and makes you look like a salesman.

i've woken up now so can give an awake response, i'll start from the top of your last post.

"chelsea drops points in the easy fixtures."
away from home yes, and against stronger opposition then that which they are facing in these 3 games yes. aston villa was a poor result, no doubt about it, but it was one game, it's like writing off man utd in easy home games just because they lost to blackburn.
at home chelsea have beaten west brom, norwich, swansea, everton, wolves, man city and sunderland. villa was their only major blip, other points dropped have been against arsenal, man utd, liverpool and fulham.
the game sandwiched in the middle of those home games is west brom away, something which i learnt this week which shocked me is west brom's home record, with only 2 wins and 2 draws it's the joint worst in the league and they've scored the least goals.

"It doesn’t matter what stoke and bolton have done away. (Like, I don’t know, beat Liverpool, 3-1)"
first of all the bit in brackets (to go with "O, and how could I forget villa?"). no body talks like that in real life. most importantly bolton beat liverpool 3-1 at home, and even then, like the chelsea loss at home to villa, this is an exception, not an example to base an argument, for example i could easily point to their 5-1 loss to chelsea if i was being equally short-sighted.

the other paragraph is answered in my first point. it's easy to make an argument mentioning some things and ignoring others. for example chelsea losing a 3 goal lead, ignoring that they scored 3 too against a top top side like man utd, missing their 2 most senior defenders who are expected back for this trio of games.

this is all very silly now and i apologise for dragging you into it, al because of the words, "one win, if that". exaggeration and selecting details and ignoring others to make a point is a pet hate of mine. for AVB's sake let's hop you are not right, he'll be as good as gone given how easy those 3 fixtures are

That's what's worrying me, the last 3 captain choices I've made have been perfect and helped me rise 74,000 places.

It's got to be between RVP and Bale for me. RVP is in incredible form but comes against an also in-form Sunderland side; Bale also in good form at home against Newcastle but something is telling me he won't do great.

Guy below me in the league I want to win has Rooney whereas I don't, admittedly Man U have bad fixtures but I feel Rooney could score big soon.

Not liking being back on top in some of the mini-leagues, feels better doing the chasing!

Don't worry too much about Rooney. You've done the sensible thing of not owning him. If he still scores, just consider your rival lucky. At this point, it's mostly the casual players owning him anyways.

I like RVP as a (C) pick only cos Sunderland will be tired after the FA Cup clash midweek. Not sure about Bale and Tottenham's attack at the moment. To me the safest choices are Silva and RVP.

Hopefully so! The fixtures they've got should really mean he shouldn't score big so I'm hoping that's the case.

Think I'll leave my team for the week and just keep a close eye on players and see what position I'm in next week. The guy below me has a fairly terrible midfield too so it's not all too bad.

Ahh cheers, hadn't realised about Sunderland playing a midweek FA cup match! Think that'll make me lean more towards RVP retaining the armband in my team, certainly seems the safest option.

Main issues is that I want Dempsey in and Aguero instead of Dzeko, just gotta hope luck is on my side!

Seems obvious to bench Dyer but If I sold him I have 7.7m in the bank, with that in mind, anyone think it'd be worth getting anyone else in...Siggy being the obvious one...but would I play him over what I have this week?

Two straight red arrows. Once-decent ranking slipping away. Totally screwed by Enrique and Kompany. and now.....my instinct is to save my transfer. Am I mad?

    Vorm Lindegaard
    Kompany Enrique Simpson Caulker Senderos
    Silva Bale Valencia Dempsey Dyer
    RVP Aguero Ba

Obviously, I need Senderos, Kompany and Enrique to be confirmed as healthy, but from what I hear, they should all be available for next week. If they are, should I save the transfer? Only ones I am considering is Valencia>Sess or Dyer>Sigg. If I were to do the second, I might end up benching Valencia. Crazy?

Nah that's going overboard Newman. United will def score after their so-called "inspired comeback" at the Bridge. You shouldn't be bothered about doubling up, it's about chosing the 3 best defenders for that position, irrespective of your GKs.

I'm still thinking about it, Newman.

If I do get Komp for Verm, I have a tricky benching decision:
              Evans, Send, Komp, Caulker (Simp)

If I save my FT, it could be simply Evans Send Caulker (Verm Simp).
Liv hardly score and AVL have regained some scoring form through Keane, Zog & Bent. I'd have to do Verm > Komp next week anyways, but could possibly wait for Europa injuries (if any)

Jeez, that is a dilemma. I really like your defense, as is. I was actually thinking that if I have to replace Senderos this week due to injury, it was gonna be for Evans.

If Senderos is hurt, then go ahead and get Komp for Verm in order to have a classy set of defenders. If not, maybe you should wait it out for Europa. Its a two week break after this week, too.

Surely penos and form make Aguero a better pick than Silva? Why would Silva be a better captain?

interesting point there, newman. AVL have conceded penalties against most top teams if i rmb right - Ars, Che, Utd. hmmmmm. Though Kun's record on the road is tricky. But looking at his record at the start of the season, nothing he can't do even on the road when he's on form.

Silva - AVL are horrid in defending quality crosses and corners. Silva's due a good haul and he just seems a safe choice if RVP isn't one.

If I go RVP (C), do you think I should play Krul ahead of Mignolet?

No. Even if you captain RVP, play Mignolet. Between Mig and Krul, Mig has better chances at a cleanie. Two games ago Arsenal couldn't even beat Bolton.

always play the better odds, even if they differ with your captain.

Good point about Silva.........but not good enough to captain, imo. Never captain just because someone is 'due.' Torres GW 2, remember?

So why am I so crazy for considering Dempsey for the armband?

Fair point about Mignolet. Could still chip in with the saves.

Wow. I'm seriously considering Kun now. What a myth around here - Kun can't score away. I was stupid to blindly ignore him as a (C) choice. I think I'm 70% Kun 20% RVP 10% Silva at the moment.

Dempsey.....hmmm. A huge factor in a captain's pick for me is the number of BAD games he has (

                    Got cut off..... 🙁

Dempsey's a huge gamble. Remember that 20 point haul was hugely due to BZ's support role. Doubt he has anyone of that stature to support him this time around.

I wouldn't play Enrique, I'd go for Caulker

Caulker Senderos Kompany - should be the back 3
I don't know if Arsenal at home is an ideal time to get Sess in, I would say Valencia and Sess have about equal chance of doing something special. Sigg seems like a nice option and worth trading for Dyer seeing as its only a little bit more cash. If I didn't have Graham up front I'd be more inclined this week to get Sigg, but I'm not sure if I will because I think I should just gamble on one of them.

Cool, you agree with Nino then on the defense. In that case, that is what I will do.

I could get Sigg in for Dyer, but that means benching Valencia. Which isn't the worst thing in the world, but is a bit of a risk.

I guess it depends if Spurs are going to play with 5 in the middle again, like last week. If they do, sure, I believe you. But if VDV or Defoe recovers, I don't see it: way too open, like when they let Wigan get one. I think Newcastle are pretty impressive offensively, actually.

your probs right but im hoping for more than 65 pre bonus.

i need another 80 or 90 point week after bonus this week to take 1st in my cashleague i reckon.

i suppose alot depends on captaincy, im constantly changing it between Bale and Dempsey.

Bale @ home and Dempsey @ home could both be so deadly.
so tough to decide who will cause more damage, hmmmmmmmmmmmm
