Kenny Dalglish is confident Jose Enrique will return for Liverpool, whose counterparts, Manchester United, should have Tom Cleverley in their squad for the first time since October. Chris Smalling could also return, though Nani and Anderson seem set to miss out for the champions.

Jermain Defoe and Aaron Lennon are back for Spurs, but Rafael Van der Vaart, Younes Kaboul and Sandro are all struggling. Ramires and John Terry continue to sit out for Chelsea, whilst Jack Rodwell has suffered a hamstring setback and remains sidelined Everton.

Our ever-evolving Team News section covers all of this and much more besides. Keep an eye on our Twitter feed which will continue to link you to the latest reports.

johnfinlay John swears he'll deliver unbiased Fantasy Premier League tips and news...until Leeds get promoted.

Go for the attacking player - can't see both sides keeping CS. The reverse fixture was 2-2 earlier in the season - should be a reasonably attacking game.

I would have thought BAE should go in if only for the possible attacking points. But it's hardly one or the other.

Who are your other defenders that are keeping him out?

So you're picking Richards (villa) and Evans (LIV) ahead of BAE (NEW)?

For both attacking potential, I would put BAE ahead of Evans while for CS potential, I'd say he'd edge both of them.

yes but I've got Ba, who destroys BAE's CS. I've got no one from Liverpool, so I'm risking with Evans here.

      Pretty off topic but meh.

I bloody hate fractional odds. Unless they have the same denominator it's not immediately apparent which is bigger when comparing odds. Decimals are far better. It's a shame that fractional odds are the prevalent type in the UK; the Yanks have the right idea (for once)

    Krul (Mignolet)
    J Evans / BAE / Enrique / (Simpson) (Shotton)
Bale / Silva / Demps / Valencia (McClean)
    RVP(c) / Agureo / Fletcher

    A few questions lads:
    1) Going to do Enrique -> Richards to improve the defence but is Fletcher -> Zamora worth it for -4 given he's facing Blackburn and Fletcher's let me down the past few games?
    2) McClean - worth a start? I could just bring Richards in and leave the team as is and start him over Fletcher?

Really? I thought C was honestly the best choice, long term. United only have two two games in their bad run left after this week, and one is away to norwich, where they just might nab a cleanie.

The downside is once the good fixtures get going will Evans keep playing? With a fit Jones, Rafael, Smalling and Ferdinand I think United's back 4 will be a nightmare.

The only thing is that I think Evans is preferred to Ferdinand this year. Rio has been benched for him quite a bit. Rafael has also done very little. I really don't worry much about Evans' place when healthy.

Evans has been pretty solid this year too. Fergie's kept faith in him in the past through his numerous gaffes, can't see him not doing the same whilst he's actually performing at a level befitting a Utd player.

Think that's more a reflection of how the game weeks have gone. Not really just down to you picks. Swansea and City must both have a chance. Are QPR or Fulham any less/more likely? And not sure whether Man U will keep clean v Liverpool. Cleanses are hard to come by this year but Swansea and City have more chance than QPR and Fulham and not sure Evans particularly strengthens what is a very good team. But just my opinion! Good luck!

Bos will probably start at RB, AVB seems to love Luiz at the moment, which leaves Ivan and Cahill competing for one place. If all depends on whether he prefers Ivan to Cahill as CB.

I rate Ivan a far better defender than either cahill or luiz, if luiz is nailed on then Iva should start definitely, but one should never try to second guess AVB.

I don't think we've yet seen a situation where Ivan is fit, Terry is out andA cole is around in the Cahill era.

This weekend will be a good indicator as to how far Cahill has slipped down the pecking order.

Luiz and Terry are pretty much his preferrred pairing at CB....if Ivan gets the nod at CB this week then it is time to pull the plug on the Cahill bathwater and watch him descend anticlockwise from our teams.

              if I were Chelsea manager....

Mine would be Ivanovic - Terry - Cahill - A Cole.

But if I were manager I would go back to basics and have as secure a back four as possible rather than encourage them to attack and leave gaps. My way is more boring, but gets the job done.

AVB prefers the latter approach unfortunately...hence the Chelsea clean sheet rate being woeful this season.

Hmmm.. That's quite a decent back line, the important thing is to get the job done, hence your method tho boring is the better one.

With Terry out I'm 99 per cent convinced Luiz will play this week. Not sure I want any Chelsea defender long term though.

Very interesting stats about the weekend's games from Mcnulty over at totalfpl today.

    Looks bleak for QPR.
The cards are set to be flying in Liv v Man Utd
Petrov from Bolton could be a good shout, as too could Gerrard and Giggs for a one week punt.
Good news for Silva owners due to Villa's poor record at corners
    Hope for Demba Ba owners
Wolves may struggle against West Brom

Man City are not great scorers away, but Villa's inability to deal with corners suggests that there are likely to be successful heads meeting Silva's corners.

Could also be good news for jammy so and so Dzeko and his 'lucky' right place at the right time antics.

You still haven't got the point, have you? If I thought I could nail a cleanie, I would. But I don't.

Damn! Had intended to save my freebie this week, but just saw that Senderos is injured. Anywho, Senderos-> Evans/Taiwo this week? And which one out of the two? My team is:

      Vorm,
      Caulker, Richards, Santon,
      Dempsey, Bale, Valencia, Silva,
      RVP, Aguero, Ba.

      Sorensen, McClean, Williamson, Senderos.

Evans are up against Liverpool, who love scoring gainst United. Fulham have got Schwarzer back and Stoke are in very poor form and they generally dont score goals.

Of no relevance what so ever. If he scored two against them every season aye a goer. Dempsey I like but he is not prolific and I think he ant be trusted. RVP really is the only player in the league to trust scoring and this week feels like he will scor low
