Apologies for the short post – my recent arrival has, understandably I hope, left me stretched for time to procrastinate. Besides, all there really is to say is that our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to cover today’s games.

    Remember all the optimism this time last year around Liverpool? Suarez with Dalglish's misguided support plus a couple of duff signing (Downing and Henderson) have fairly put a dampner on things.

        Definitely Gaz. Just give it to Scholes. He is as influential as Xavi. Controls the tempo of the game and the distribution is second to none.
