    Just seen the replay of the dempsey (assist?), it seems that soreson tips it on to the bar so does that mean it was a shot on target meaning a chance of it turning into a goal?

      Good point, it was technically on target..i mean look at this scenario, what happens if a shot on target hits an opposing players left leg,changes direction from that ,moves away from goal briefly before hitting his right leg and then going in? Isn't that still a goal? just asking... any clarification on this?
