Get in! BPs made me hit the 100 mark for the first time in the season! 15 BPs (17 with dempsey being my captain) suddenly that 100 gap between me and top spot of my mini league seems a lot better! he's only 50ish now! watch your back!

Alrighty, Groups GHIJKL along with their gravs in the Europa Cup League have been updated. The highest and the lowest scores of the week came in the same match Celtic A.K.A RebelDog777 absolutely slaughtered Udinese A.K.A Mull 83 - 24, leaving Mull on a G.D of - 45 as he slips from 1st in the group to last. 5 people thus far have recorded 2 victories out of 2 matches. Thanks.

DGW preparations are in full swing again I see!. After the disaster of GW20 I am holding off this time round. Neither of Everton or Liverpools fixtures inspire and I think there are better options out there for GW28, and going forward.

Agree thats the best area to invest (but not for a hit). Their fixture list for the run in looks fairly healthy too, so it makes sense as a long term move. I did Richards>Skrtel and am sticking with that.

I'm planning on bringing in Liverpool defender for the whole season anyway and it'll be for Taiwo, so in my sense the 4 point "should" pay for itself.

It's always been the intention for G Johnson to come in after the Arsenal game.

Now I am second guessing and thinking Skertel and Enqiue.

Thanks - Ive jus had a quick look and expect (although maybe not a wise thing to presume) that Chelsea will beat Brum midweek therefore the following week the Man City v Chelsea game will not be on that week so getting rid of both Ag and Mata would be good - I guess the real question is do I go for another Pool player this week instead of young?

Im pretty sure im doing Ag > Suarez

Having missed most of this week's price rises already, I think I'll wait for the Arsenal, Chelsea,Spurs, ManU, and City midweek games to be over before risking transfers.

It's OK if you're on a W/C, but mine went long, long ago.

This is not a boast as there are numerous people on here doing better than me, just want some advice

I am about 45 odd points off the top 1000 once the scores are added. Do I ?

    A) take a couple of punts to bridge the gap or
    B) maintain the steady progress

At Xmas I did A and have been struggling to claw my way back since..

Help / Advice would be greatly appreciated

Not really. Whipped in my two Europa matches. 67 today - and I had van Persie as captain.

          So:

          Sessegnon to Walcott
          Etherington to Nani
Yaya or Silva to Surman ... this is the big imponderable.

Depends where you want to finish, I suppose. If you're looking for top 1,000 (fantastic ranking as it is) play it steady and safe with a couple of gambles near the end if you're still a bit off. But if you want top 500, maybe 100 even (don't know how far off that you are though) then gamble a bit. Higher risk, bigger potential reward but bigger risk of failure.

    Ba (-1) RVP (13) Aguero (c) (0)

Schwarzer, Kenny, Robinson if you look purely on home/away rotation... although that wouldnt be very smart imo

Yeah, Schwarzer seems the best, as apart from gw38 the other has a blue away game...

Right guys......I literally spent a couple of hrs y'day afternoon trying to figure this one out:

I want Rooney & Skertel for Aguero & Richards but I am 0.2 shy.

    An Ideas?

    Vorm Krul
    Enrique Simpson Richards Kelly BAE
    Silva Bale Walters Dmpsey Siggy
    RVP Aguero Ba

    I have 2 free transfers!

Was going to do Walters to any 6.0 miffeilder for a 4 point hit.

    Thanks

Walters seems like the one who needs to go, hard to say who for though. Maybe give Pilkington a go? Some nice fixtures coming his way.

Go with the Walters plan. I would have said McClean but Sunderland are going to have a tough few weeks without Clattermole and Sess. Everyone is mad for Pilkington at the moment but I;m not convinced. Alex Song seems to be hitting a little form at the moment, as does his whole team, and at 5.8 he could be worth a punt.

How does Valencia go down by 0.7 million with 170,000 transfers in 3 weeks and Ba only goes down by 0.3 million with nearly 440k transfers out over 3 weeks?

It depends on the ownership. A larger proportion of Valencia owners got rid.

Valencia;s drop is roughly a 66% of its owners drop vs Ba's 63% not much of a difference to take off another 0.4 million from the price tag

    Krul - Vorm
    Kompany - Caulker - Santon - Evans - Senderos
    Sess - Silva - Bale - Dempsey - Dyer
    RVP - Ba - Aguero

    2FT, 1m in the bank.

I'm thinking Aguero & Santon > Suarez & Skrtel. Sound good?

In case you were wondering, yes I did C and VC Aguero and Silva, respectively, this week. No I was not pleased. About that, or the two yellows and two reds my team got...

I think you'll be fine, although back to back defeats may affect the confidence levels, and Goodison's not an easy place to go to...

Genuinely think it will go down to the wire, with Chelsea missing out.

I reckon the scoreline at half-time yesterday was the killer. Confidence will have taken a severe blow and I'm worried about Everton away and Chelsea at home now. Amazing after that 5-0 hammering of Toon that it's gone like this.

Sometimes too much confidence can be just as damaging as not enough. It's a shame as I would have liked to have seen Spurs really challenging the Manchester clubs. I still think they will have a strong finish though.

Spurs have been criticised for not beating big clubs this season, but I do think they've been unlucky against them. The start of the season vs City & Utd we didn't have a full strength team, away at City we were very unlucky not to win/get a result and again yesterday, not a full strength team. It's not like we played badly yesterday (some poor defending aside). I really don't want to look back on this season and feel disappointed, but it's a bit worrying at the mo.

Yeah, you played very well yesterday, just not clinical enough (oh how I know how that feels...). That said we were the opposite at the w/e - awful yet snatched a win. If we didn't have RVP we would be mid table - depressing.

The next 2 games are massive for you.

Yeah, got rid of Valencia to help fund Rooney coming in. Wasn't overly happy with that, but at this stage you can't have players like that on the bench.
