    Morning all, I still cant believe what has unfolded before my eyes this weekend.

    My team has more holes in it than Swiss cheese.

    Vorm (Ruddy)
    Evans, Cahill, Simpson, Richards (Kelly)
    Silva, Sess, Demps, Bale, Dyer
    Aguero, BA, RVP

    Sess and Dyer suspended.
    Bale, Kelly injuries
    Richards dropped off the face off the planet.
    Aguero = disappointment, never (c) again.
    Ba-I'm questioning his value since Cisse arrived.

    I have 2 freebies, and willing to take 8 point hit as I have 94 point lead in mini-league.

    So what 4 transfers would you suggest to sort this sorry lot out?

      Very similar team to mine before I wildcarded last night (I have Siggy instead of Dyer and McClean instead of Silva).

      I think the transfers you NEED to do are Sess and Dyer out. McClean and Siggy are great replacements under normal circumstances, but there is a DGW. Trouble is, can't be certain of Liverpool players.

      Aguero and Ba out are tempting transfers but not essential - anyone would think they had broken their legs the way people are shipping them out. They're still potent goalscorers so hardly constitute a problem. Suarez for Ba would be a third transfer though, and Enrique or Skrtel for Richards.

      they don't. With old legs in midfield, SAF is always going to play two CMs. Two wide players max. I think SAF has relied on injuries to save him the difficult decisions.

      You'd have to play Nani, Young and Valencia on the same side in training though - they'd be kicking lumps out of each other otherwise.

    Am I mad in just sticking with Jenrique for the DGW and instead using my transfer to swap out Valencia for Young? Jenrique would be my only Liverpool player and I have no Everton.

      Depends what other transfers your team needs. If you've got nothing else pressing then I'd be tempted by Suarez for a week then switch to Rooney, especially if you're chasing a lead.

    i got 71pts and it still wasn't enough to beat my mini league rival with 78pts. He lucked out massively!! He hadn't been on FPL this week and left RVP captain and had Clichy playing!

      Always a chance - but he's just had a week or so off, and we're getting to the business end of the season. What could work in the favour of Rooney owners is that WBA are in good form - Rooney will be rested but only in a game that SAF knows they can win without him (like home to Blackburn...) - so I can't see anything other than a Rooney start at the W/E (if fit). But I'm not SAF...

        He's going to want all three points in Europa as well, so I was wondering if it would be Rooney in there, and then put a midfield of Nani, Giggs, Scholes and Young with Hernandez and Berby/Wellbeck up front.
