Chelsea Cup Win Seals City Postponement

Chelsea tonight booked their passage to the FA Cup Quarter-Finals with a 2-0 win at Birmingham. The victory ensures that they will face Leicester City on March 18. This means that their league fixture for that weekend – the trip to Man City which was scheduled for Monday March 19 is now postponed. Both Chelsea and Man City now have a missing fixture in Gameweek 29.

Having seen the other FA Cup postponements shifted to midweek later in Gameweek 29, we can anticipate that the same fate will befall this match with Wednesday March 21 the likely date.

We will hopefully get confirmation of the rescheduled match very soon. For now, however, the season tickers will be updated to show a blank fixture in Gameweek 29 for both teams.

      A snowball bandwagon guaranteed to melt in spring, I'd say. He's talented ( and his younger brother is an excellent prospect as well ) but I just can't see it, no matter what the stats may say. Still, he can't be any worse than that hopeless old gasper Petrov.

            i took advice i was given on these boards and passed on Pilk this week due to rotation of Norwich mids.. from what ive gathered there isnt a sure-fire mid at that price range, people seem to like Myiachi alot, i took McClean simply because with Sess and Cattermole out he should be a lock to start unless he gets injured

      pretty sick team imo, although Valencia may be relegated to RightBack or even rotated off the bench, neither of which excludes him from scoring points,.. im a bit jealous, we have similar teams but yours has better depth all around, ive got Aguero instead of Pog but no Bale or Valencia... looks solid for several GWs to me

      Not an Al Habs fan I'm afraid. Prefer Krul.
      Caulker could be Shotton-the rest are fine although a NEW defender could be in the mix.
      Valencia needs to go for Siggster. The rest are all good.
      Pog's a little bit of a gamble - let's see his reliability first. I feel that Suarezz should be in your front 3 for the dgw.

      I likes it. Cities fixtures are pretty rough over the next few so you could consider investing a little less in them by going Silva > Toure then upgrading Pog to Suarez and Enrique> Skrtel. Liv have sweet fixtures coming up.

            Yep, no luck at all this year - picking the right players but they aren't scoring the points. Very frustrating.
            I had a bit of an accident a couple of weeks ago and fractured my arm 😥 Painful to the body and the wallet, I'm afraid. Also managed to completely cock up my transfers and lose .3 yesterday, and lost to HappyAnkit in the EuroVase league, which felt like being mugged by a giant marshmallow. Shocking.
            I'm definitely buying lottery tickets this weekend as Dame Fortune owes me one, I feel.

          Hi Acqua! Wow, I'm a diehard Silva FF fan so that's a big ask you are asking me there. I have issues with those Man U mids.

          Nani has become highly unreliable and isn't knocking up the points he once was. He tailed off last year too didn't he?

          AY is also unreliable imo. Personally, I wouldn't look beyond Evans and Roonpigger.

    These price changes are really messing with my transfer plans. I'm now 0.6m short of my plan up to GW31. Was going to get in Skrtel, Nani, Pilkington and Rooney over the next two weeks (one hit). Rooney is definitely coming, so I need to downgrade two of the other 3 targets.

        Absolutely not sure. I've got two norwich mates who are both bewildered why he only had 45 mins at the weekend. They reckon he will play. But nothing more concrete than that. Hoping to get some indication on here before the weekend.

        I've just realized that with my above plan, I would have to bring the young signing forward a week for another hit (total 8 pts), otherwise it would be unaffordable. Would it be worth it, or should I be looking at Enrique, Young, Myichi? I've got a feeling that valencia will play at right back a lot of the time.

          I am not convinced with Miyaichi just yet... And if you have to downgrade Nani, i'd say go for Valencia... A.young is very unpredictable... There were occasions when Valencia was playing RB and still getting assists... Young has had 3 very good matches... Valencia will give you the assurance... down skrtel >> ENRIQUE For the funds
