  I wouldn't be so quick to bin Gerbil just yet. He scored last week in his first game since returning from the ban so I would hold off on that move.
  
  Re Silva people on here appear to be binning him in droves. I was going to do what you were planning on and hold on for another week, but the word is he was very poor last night and is still carrying an ankle injury, so the consensus on here seems to be that now is the time to get rid. I am considering Young, Wallcott and Gerrard as replacements. Still haven't dcided what to do yet though....

Hey guys, I think I know the answer to this, but...

Is it worth doing Skrtel, BAE & Suarez > Caulker, Evans & Rooney for a 8 point hit? If Caulker goes up before next gameweek's free trannie is available, I won't be able to do it.

I was planning to wait till next week and do some/all of those transfers, maybe involving a 4 point hit. I could still do that but it would mean losing Kompany instead of BAE.

Talk some sense into me!

  I think Caulker is going to go up in price before the deadline, which also scuppers my plans this week!
  
  Tough call. I think Rooney will be essential for the run in. It would be worth it to lose Kompany to fund him in my opinion.
  
  An 8 point hit is tough to swallow though, especially when the players you are selling all have good games this week.

I was considering keeping my transfer this week but I have a feeling I need to make some changes:

My Midfeild is the biggest issue right now. Silva is not performing, Pilko is a rotation risk and Sigurdsson has a tough fixture.

    Not even for Wigan(h)? I listened to bits and pieces of the Scoutcast and as it was pointed out Pool have not done well at home this season and the 3-0 vs Eve was unexpected. Prob best to go with my original gut feeling of pool defender/s for the run in.

        No seriously, I had some luck(for a change!) with Ade this year. When he was at Ars i never had hin when he scored big. He bought Ade for the Monday night game vs Villa. I just had that feeling. Obviously sold him befoe his 21pt haul, but still.
        
        Spurs have just lost the plot a bit for me with Saha there and vdv not firing/playing. I will see how fluent they are vs Stoke this gw and take it from there.

        But Tottenham arent playing well lately.
        
        I also have a Lampard/Drogba feeling! Gerrard had a big haul but Liverpool are inconsistent. If they beat QPR convincingly and Gerrard gets 90 minutes, I will probably get him. But I dont see this happening!

      Its between Gerrard and Walcott, and possibly Drogba/Lampard. I am making a transfer this week (Simpson->Caulker) in case I go through with my plan of getting Walcott, as Ill have JUST enough cash to do so next week.
      
      Id love nothing more than to keep Silva and see him maul Chelsea this weekend, so that I can get Walcott and ignore the chelsea players for a little while longer.

    Too injury prone? I know, I shouldnt get sucked in after he scores a few goals. Ive seen Liverpool "turn a corner" quite a few times this season already! They usually capitulate right after they do well...

  I like the look of Walcott, but more likely as a Dempsey replacement in a few weeks, rather than Silva. If people keep selling Silva, he suddenly becomes a massive differential who just happens to be one of the best players in the league, and one of the highest points scorers so far. I'm really hoping I see a lot of rivals teams without him this weekend...

  Dunno, but Rooney scored a brilliant goals 3 min after being inured. I suppose whiskey nose will give us some info.
  
  Tosey, what's your gut feeling on Rooney(c) this week? I'm not worried if Rooney is a "no show" more that he gets a 2 pointer. It's this time of the season some crap team will start pulling results out of now where.
