Have Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney made this Fantasy football lark look easy? Get the pair in, alternate the armband and watch the points flow. Simples.

Even if it really is that straightforward, there’s still a role for “the third man”, the striker that slots alongside the two titans. In this week’s ScoutCast, we rinse this once through, throw some names around and argue a few theories of our own.

Chuck in the usual bandwagon review in “All Aboard”, the Gameweek preview and Mark’s latest gentle Fantasy Premier League reform idea and you have another episode packed and ready to go.

He got a knock, and then smacked a 20 yarder in the top corner 3 minutes later. Will wait to see what SAF says tomorrow but Rooney(c) is a concern in case he doesn't start. I think they'll win by 3 goals. Nani is tempting, the sort of player who can destroy a weak defense.

Absolutely spanked by Fulham and then rolled over at home to Blackburn, they're the most hopeless team at the moment. United ain't goin to give up top of the league to a team like that.

tough to say, but i think both will start seeing as its the last trophy united are playing for and they will want to make sure of every win from hereon in. Although united would prob beat wolves easily without roo so perhaps he could get rested, but i still think he will play. Ferdinand was taken off at 60 mins on thursday i assume to keep him for wolves.

I'd play Siggy Jim. Particulalry if you have a LIV defender, Evans and a NEW defender. Those three offer enough potential of a cs plus you can play Siggy w/out the worry of your FUL defnder conceding. 😉

Fulham and Dempsey in particular have been in super form at the Cottage in recent weeks with the American notching up 6 goals in his last 4 home fixtures for Martin Jol’s side. Of course this time out they face a buoyant Swansea side rejuvenated by their victory over Man City last time out, but on the road things have not coming up roses for Brendan Roger’s men as they have only managing 3 wins on their travels this season and conceding 24 goals in the process will not be a stat the Welsh side will be proud of. Fulham of course like I said at the top are in great form at the Cottage and really it is hard to back against Dempsey despite the caliber of opposition. But, CS for Fulham are unpredictable, IMO

Looking ahead to next week, I'll likely have 2 freebies, but can't see anywhere to use them that doesn't worsen the team for the GW - any ideas?

    Mignolet (QPR)
JEvans (FUL), Skrtel (WIG), Enrique (WIG)
Nani (FUL), Dempsey (mun), Walcott (AVL), Siggy (EVE)
RVP (AVL), Rooney (FUL), Suarez (WIG)

Bogdan (BLA), Surman (WOL), Caulker (EVE), Shotton (MCY)
    Bank 0.0m

    1) Do I play Surman over Dempsey due to fixtures?
    2) If not, should I consider Dempsey -> someone like Sessegnon (QPR), with a view of then doing Sessegnon & Suarez -> Bale & Balotelli in GW31

FA cup games this weekend followed by midweek league games, so huge possibility that someone gets injured between tomorrow and next deadline.

I'd wait till after next Wednesday's games before worrying about who to change for GW30.

Well Silva has got to go and i want to replace him with a United winger, but the only one that really convinces me is Valencia. Young seems to have these on and off games, and Nani is just unreliable. So the plan is to trade Silva for an Arsenal midfielder (Walcott/Rosicky), and the get Valencia in next GW when he will be fully fit. Would you consider Scholes as an option?

Young is in hot form right now and has missed a large chunk of gametime through injury so he is relatively fresh.

Therefore I can see no reason to rest him if I'm Sir Alex.

Valencia just coming back from injury so ni idea what kind of form he's in. Nani is another potential rotation risk and out of form.

Young looks most likely to get it done at the moment.

i'm not a fan of yaya at that price, he's not attacking enough to justify it imo. keep him this week but switch to valencia next week. mata has city away though..
