With the Aston Villa and Bolton fixture understandably postponed, we’re at Ewood Park tonight as Gameweek 29 soldiers on. It’s relegation-threatened Blackburn at home to the recently relentless Sunderland. Fantasy managers are likely to have modest interest – with Yakubu and James McClean the most likely hopefuls on show. Nevertheless, our Dugout Discussion chatroom has opened up to catch your reactions as the match progresses.

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Lowe, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Formica, Hoilett, Marcus Olsson, Yakubu.

Sunderland XI: Mignolet, Bardsley, Kyrgiakos, Turner, Bridge, Larsson, Gardner, Vaughan, McClean, Bendtner, Campbell.

The team news finds Kean resisting the temptation to tinker, despite the availability of David Dunn, Gael Givet and Bradley Orr. It’s an unchanged lineup from the one that saw off Wolves at Molineux last time out then.

As for the visitors, they’re without skipper John O’Shea, presumably through injury or illness, so Sotirios Kyrgiakos comes into the back four for his Black Cats debut. Elsewhere, Martin O’Neill brings in David Vaughan for Jack Colback.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

Balotelli in for Demba ba, for a hit (it's a long term move, if that makes a wee bitta difference)

With Tevez confirmed on the bench for tonight, i wouldn't feel safe having a City striker that could potentially become rotation risk, which is not really long-term if you think about it.

Is it worth a hit to do Dempsey -> Walcott and bench Bale (che) this week?

    Vorm - (Schwarzer)
    Evans - BAE - Enrique - (Simpson) - (Kelly)
    Bale - Silva - Sigurdsson - Valencia - (Dempsey)
    Suarez - RvP - Rooney

Anything else I could do to improve this team for the run in?
Probably wait a week to do Kelly -> Caulker. Should I get Lampard for his potential explosion? When?

Definately no to the hit, Dempsey has Norwich at home and Bolton away after ManU.

And also, play Bale vs Chelsea, Spurs will be fighting for their CL lives, and im sure he'll contribute a vast amount in the game.

Quite clear that it's definitely a bad idea to take a hit for that move.. Glad to hear these confirmations. 😀

Btw, @Ashish, I originally put Simpson in starting 11 but some comments on here think Newcastle may easily concede too. So, I was opted for attacking potential from BAE.

      Umm..

Could potentially pay off, but not too keen on suarez, i brought him in as (C) for the DGW and got rid right after for rooney.

Its too much of a risk with suarez, ur better off leaving it as is until next gameweek and think something through..

perhaps 5 good mids and a cheap 3rd ST? See my logic above.

    Morning folks.

Thoughts my planned team for GW33

    Schwarzer, Mingolet

    Evans, Skrtel, Sagana. kaboul, Caulker

    Young, Lamps, Sigg, McLean, Andrews

    RvP, Rooney, Ade

Midfield may seem light, but barring GW37 I will be playing Siggy every week. If I need to I can switxh Young for Nani, or for Valencia and upgrade Andrews.

You have to start Caulker at home, has this week taught you nothing about benching Swans. Hard to see where you'll get him in mind, but I'd at least have him 1st sub. if I had anyone's points that I wanted off the bench in your team it would be Caulker's.

Haha, I know. But like you said, tricky to fit him in. Perhaps putting him as 1st sub is the way to go, or perhaps even ousting Surman (WOL) and playing 4-3-3?

Swap Enrique for Caulker, surely... no need to put all your eggs in one Anfield basket when Swansea are playing so well atm...

Maybe play Bogdan though, just incase Bolton play... much better fixture even though City are horrible away these days...

Everything else is in order... strong team for this week...

Cheers. I see your point on not doubling on defenders, but looking purely at the odds Liverpool are 8/11 to keep a clean sheet and Swansea are 6/4. Tempting as it is I think I'm gonna take a gamble and double on LIV at the back and put Caulker 1st sub...

my sheep usually start out good,
rhythmically jumping the fence in an orderly fashion.

but after a while they start jumping out of order, in pairs, in threes, and generally start engaging in more and more disorderly behaviour

letting of loud bas (lately sometimes even dembas)

and its not before long they start levitating, never landing, thus making them uncountable, and so they start irritate me, adrenaline starts pumping, thus awaking more... and you all know what that means...

next thing I find myself logging onto fiso, ffs, and fpl or similar

I too have had similar things happen...

Instead the sheep in question tend to get caught up in some imagined barbed wire fencing and I start visualizing everything that comes with that... and then when this happens the other sheep refuse to jump... and I'm like "wait a f*cking minute here, this is in my head, how the f*ck can you be saying no to me!? You're a f*cking sheep!"

I too have noticed that people don't have enough confidence in their own decisions...

I never actually come on here for advice... I haven't posted a RMT since the before the beginning of the season and I rarely, if ever, ask people for advice on transfers... I find all that mostly counter productive since everybody has different opinions leaving you even more undecided...

These forums can help the casual player create more competitive teams and help them get top 100k... but I have found that in order to break into the top 5k you have to start being creative and making up your own mind about things...

I don't ever get the feeling that Suarez would end up scoring 15 pts. 10 is the max I expect from him but Gerrard is clearly a different case. He can score pretty big, get bonuses regularly, and he is a classy player when on form.

I have the feeling that Suarez might explode against Wigan, new contract and all. Mind you, i have had such a feeling since the end of last season! He had a phenomenal scoring record in Holland and said soon after joining Pool how surprised he was at the amount of space PL defenders gave him. So, step up Luis!

Sounds like there will be goals for Chelsea. A few good options out there. Lampard, Drogba, Sturridge and Mata will likely be amongst the goals. I'm guessing Toure and Savic will be playing CB. Yaya might even be the backup CB and either him or De Jong will play fairly deep

Woulda been nice if Sess had dropped some more so I could fit him in. Glad he's back in the squad as that was shocking last night.

Lindegaard stays generous and lets on Vorm for a third consecutive week, and a total of 24 points.

Boo the swans. Bailing so many people out this week. I wouldn't have been as bothered if wasn't for fact I'm gonna get holt tonight rather than caulker cos of the stupid way I left my subs.

You'd fancy Holt to score for an ever-scoring Norwich @ SportsDirect over a Caulker away at the Cottage though?

          I'm pleased I foresaw McClean's no-show though, playing Siggy as a starter.

Swans been crushing all my best laid plans lately. Might just have to be playing Caulker every week from now on lol.
