With the Aston Villa and Bolton fixture understandably postponed, we’re at Ewood Park tonight as Gameweek 29 soldiers on. It’s relegation-threatened Blackburn at home to the recently relentless Sunderland. Fantasy managers are likely to have modest interest – with Yakubu and James McClean the most likely hopefuls on show. Nevertheless, our Dugout Discussion chatroom has opened up to catch your reactions as the match progresses.

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Lowe, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Formica, Hoilett, Marcus Olsson, Yakubu.

Sunderland XI: Mignolet, Bardsley, Kyrgiakos, Turner, Bridge, Larsson, Gardner, Vaughan, McClean, Bendtner, Campbell.

The team news finds Kean resisting the temptation to tinker, despite the availability of David Dunn, Gael Givet and Bradley Orr. It’s an unchanged lineup from the one that saw off Wolves at Molineux last time out then.

As for the visitors, they’re without skipper John O’Shea, presumably through injury or illness, so Sotirios Kyrgiakos comes into the back four for his Black Cats debut. Elsewhere, Martin O’Neill brings in David Vaughan for Jack Colback.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and can be accessed right here.

Big fan of the Matchday rooms when there are a lot of games on.

Chaos ensues every time there is a goal as it takes ages to work out who scored, and even longer to work out who assisted. Good laugh

Would be boring as fook on a night like tonight when there's only one game on, mind.

yep I will get in Surman for Morrison, to get the funds to do Demps>Bale in GW 31/32.

Surman has played 90 mins in each of his 9 last matches except one where he played 69.

            I have Surman.

Will probably play him against Wolves as Wolves are pants, but after that I think he can be the cheap mid I bench.

Can't argue at £4.4m though. At least he'll be good for a few points off the bench if needs be.

I got him in my WC gw28 he has a couple of difficult gw 31 and 32. Besides that they look decent.
My logic getting him was that O'Neill does not rotate his team and should stay the same for the rest of the season. Also his teams are defensively organised.

Does anyone else think that it is form over fixtures at this time of the season?
I was a slave to the fixtures all season (bar the big guns) but it seems to be changing now.
    i.e. Swansea and Fulham!

Absolutely form over fixtures now, Vorm over fixtures in fact. Swansea have highlighted the importance of backing the form teams in the run-in, empirically speaking, this season, it's been more of a case of form over fixtures anyway I have found, and my team has suffered as a result of going with fixtures.

I'm not sure about PES 2012 but in 2011 the speed merchant card made it twice as easy to get past someone. It was pretty unrealistic to be honest because you could teach someone like Babel to dribble like Messi.
That's one of reasons I jumped ship to Fifa. It's a lot harder to grasp but it's much more realistic and winning feels more rewarding.

I have 2 FT this week. Thinking:

    Aguero > P. Cisse, and

    Pilkington > Valencia

Will also leave me some extra cash to upgrade defence. BIG question follows:

But will Cisse play away from home? Only time he has Newc got smashed 5-0 at Spurs...

Blacbkurns GK Bunn going in for an op soon to be replaced on bench by Jake Kean who has played for Eng U20 and a talent to watch if he gets the opportunity. Not really FPL material just something to have at the back of the mind if Robbo gets injured.
