I hate double Gameweeks. So often false dawns for Fantasy managers, they can promise so much and deliver so little leaving you frustrated and left to clear the ugly remnants of some hurried squad surgery. Then again – the announcement of the latest slew of doubles may just have left the door ajar for me to close the mini-league gap on Mark. Our host was certainly wriggling uncomfortably in his chair during today’s recording, pondering the damage that the Gameweek 34 blanks could inflict and the surge in points that Gameweeks 35 and 36 could bring.

In truth we hardly had time to digest the full picture before dragging ourselves into the studio. Like giggling schoolgirls at a One Direction concert, we were giddy with excitement and largely incoherent with our speech. Still, in and amongst the usual regulars, you might just find something of value amongst the jibberings.

all we be revealed tomorrow when I get to our group.

But yeah H2H record first then GD. Makes your H2H with Rebeldogg interesting, if you beat him I am out due to our our H2H result and his GD.

    EUROPA time

EUROPA League Preview – Final Group Matches

    Group C preview

There is still everything to play for in this group with every side still in with a chance of qualifying. So, let’s start by looking at what needs to happen for each team to qualify

1st – Legia Warsaw (Happy Ankit) – The maths for Legia is simple avoid defeat and qualify antything else and they rely on results elsewhere, but with 1 win and loss v every team in the group and a poor GD in relation to Dinamo defeat could well mean elimination for Legia

2nd – Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Billy Ketsu) – Similar to Legia, a draw or a win sends them thorugh, anything else sends them out, unless they can avoid defeat top Legia by more than 2 points.

3rd – Dinamo – (Menly) – Known for his unusaul entrances, his superior GD gives him the advantage over Funkav, but nothing less than a win will be enough for Dinamo despite boasting easily the best GD in the group

4th – PSV (Funlkyav) – The early favourite needs a minor miracle to advance he must beat Menly by something approaching 50 points having both won and lost vs both Legia and Hapoel.

Hapeol Tel-Aviv v Legia – The battle for group supremacy, winner take all. All the cliches apply here. The top 2 go head to head. I am unable to see Billy Ketu’s transfers on his profile, though looking at his team I anticipate nothing changing. The same can be said of Happy Ankit, though I anticipate that Silva has become Valencia.

    Predicted Line-Ups

Hapoel – Bogdan, Sagna, Evans, Skrtel, Walcott, Bale, Valencia, Gerrard, RvP, Rooney, Pog

Legia – Krul, Skrtel, Evans, Kelly, Raylor, Valencia, Bale, Dempsey, RvP, Rooney, Suarez

Key Battle – This tie centers on Fulham and Liverpool with Gerrard and Pog vs Dempsey and Suarez set to decide the result

Prediction – Narrow away win, with Hapoel relying on a PSV victory.

PSV v Rapid Bucharest – PSV cling to extremely faint hopes of qualification, whist Rapid will be banking on a superior GD to see them through to the next round, assuming they claim the win of course
For PSV I suspect one of both of the popular Silva to Valencia or Ba to Cisse transfers have been made. I anticipate that Valencia has also arrived for Rapid, at the expense of Ashley Young

    Predicted line-ups

PSV – Krul, Evans, Skrtel, Simpson., Siggy, Mata, Valencia, Bale, RvP, Rooney, Cisse

Rapid – Krul, Verm, Evans, Kelly, Dempsey, Bale, Valencia, Ryo, RvP, Rooney, Yak

Key Battle – Dempsey v Cisse

    Verdict- Away win and qualification.

Basically I don't believe walcott will return more points in the long term as Bale, plus is more a risk as regards rotation and injury. Perfect solution is to have bot. Why change this week with Bale playing at home?

I know I'm not touching Bale...yet. They can slap around Bolton all they want in FA cup, but when Swansea starts sitting on the ball, I can't see Scott Parker or any of the other midfield suspects (yes VDV I'm looking at you) doing more than hoofing it out of their third.

If you can't get Theo with someone else, don't be proud, get your grind on and get Song...or punt it with AOC. Taiwo or Young it will make no difference this weekend.

Then leave him on the shelf, do consider he is a high risk (by my own personal opinion as a Gunners fan) for rotation. Every year, Wenger does this, he's no Mancini, but consider he hasn't been rotated/out since GW18 Wolves at Emirates, and AOC and a bunch of marginal players are due runouts. With Man City next week, it would be something to consider. I will probably look to actually get him in for next week...yeah, against City.

Yes. It is not a load of rubbish, anyone can be a one-off rotation risk, I didn't intimate that he was; only to be wary this week...the week before a crucial game...playing the likes of Rangers.

Well right now i have 8, but im getting in Vermaelen and Graham until then for Suarez/Enrique, which will get me 10. When filled up from swansea arsenal and united all playing at home, with no free slots up front and midfield leaves only my defence. Surely it cant be worth it to take a hit to bring in a defender _just_ for that one game?

Not too keen on Pogrebnyak (?) but I'm absolutely anti-Crouch. I seriously don't think people would even be giving him more than a passing thought had it not been for his wonder goal last w/e. So has to be the Russian guy out of those two.

so switching bale to walcott is a sensible idea considering form and next fixture? My other mids I will not remove.

I am thinking about getting Walcott this week. Can't afford Bale scoring well as all rivals have him so I'll have to upgrade Dyer or wait until after MC. Bale ownership is the worrying factor.

      Vorm

      Evans, Kompany

      Walcott, Siggy, McClean, Valencia

      RVP, Rooney, Aguero

-4 to fill the last hole...not worth it for a def imo

I'd play the rest of the game by wildcarding in GW35 so you can load your team up with GW34 players and then change it to all DGWer's with a few exceptions such as RVP, Rooney, Evans.

sorry if already discussed but are these blank games for Wk 34 likely to be still scheduled in week 34?

Need to get rid of Senderos, so was thinking between Kompany & BAE. Seen as tho MCI have a game in wk 34 is it a safer bet to go with Vincent?
