Sergio Aguero looks set to miss Manchester City’s game against Sunderland with an already infamous “stupid” injury.

Vincent Kompany should return for City, though Joleon Lescott is expected to remain sidelined. Rio Ferdinand is available for United, who will be without Nani for the trip to Blackburn. Branislav Ivanovic is back in the fold for Roberto Di Matteo as Chelsea take on Aston Villa, but Raul Meireles could well miss out with a knee injury.

Jack Rodwell, Seamus Coleman and Royston Drenthe all look set to miss Everton’s game with against West Brom, whilst Arsene Wenger is “90% confident” that Laurent Koscielny will be available for Arsenal’s clash with QPR.

Aston Villa have this afternoon confirmed the sad and shocking news that Stiliyan Petrov has been diagnosed with acute leukaemia. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Villa skipper at a time like this…

      am thinking something similar but every time I buy an in form player I curse them and they do poorly!

      could get cisse from newcastle and dump suarez. that wouldn't cost you anything and he's firing on all cylinders.

    Have made some really unlucky/bad transfers and subs over the past few weeks and need a good haul to catch my rival.

    My team is OK as such but at the mercy of man u rotation for Hernandez and Young. I could get Rooney in and a cheapie mid like Ben Artha but my rival has Rooney.

    Here's my team:

    Vorm, Mign

    BAE, Clichy, Enrique, Simpson, Jevans

    Bale, Dempsey, A Young, Walnut, siggy

    RVP, Hernandez, Holt

    Any opinions? Could play the team with no changes and save the transfer?
