Sergio Aguero looks set to miss Manchester City’s game against Sunderland with an already infamous “stupid” injury.

Vincent Kompany should return for City, though Joleon Lescott is expected to remain sidelined. Rio Ferdinand is available for United, who will be without Nani for the trip to Blackburn. Branislav Ivanovic is back in the fold for Roberto Di Matteo as Chelsea take on Aston Villa, but Raul Meireles could well miss out with a knee injury.

Jack Rodwell, Seamus Coleman and Royston Drenthe all look set to miss Everton’s game with against West Brom, whilst Arsene Wenger is “90% confident” that Laurent Koscielny will be available for Arsenal’s clash with QPR.

Aston Villa have this afternoon confirmed the sad and shocking news that Stiliyan Petrov has been diagnosed with acute leukaemia. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Villa skipper at a time like this…

    What are people doing with McClean? Is it time to get rid, bench him, or could he be in for some points? He is so cheap with a great points return so difficult decision but tough fixtures putting me off!

      I'm keeping, if anything it's nice to have him as my bench warmer - as a player who can get points regularly. Once their fixtures clean up Sunderland have a nice little run too.

    I can currently field 10 for GW 34. Despite that and Newc DGW coming I am losing Demba tonight for a -4. Who to get in now so I can tinker with my bottom 5 team?

    1 - Jelavic - good fixtures, DGW coming at some point. But it is Everton
    2 - Crouch - another DGW at some, wig, WOL, avl - corking fixtures. But it is Crouch and Stoke
    3 - P.Cisse - need I explain?
    4 - Odem - meh fixtures, but then I can field 11 in GW34

    which option seems better?
    A) is safe as it gives me a player in gw 34 without sacrificin mclean(who plays in 34).. however i already have 8 players playin that week.. so should get away with 11 players makin a transfer a week for gw 34 players from now on

      if it means anything, despite him playing in GW34 i think i will be dumping Sess. Sunderlands fixtures aren't that great and as i have 2FT i can replace Sess with Walcott (a player who also plays in GW34 but has much kinder fixtures barring next GW)
