We’ve had the ball in for an examination – we’ve screened it for fibres from Hatem Ben Arfa’s boots and we can now reveal that the results were inconclusive. The forensics proved nothing – Quincy has let us down.

As you may have guessed, last weekend’s events at the Sports Direct Arena and the Fantasy Premier League’s assist ruling provides the topic of discussion for this week’s ScoutCast. Wrapped around that, Mark and I throw in the usual regulars and I try my best to keep my chin up throughout, despite the widening mini-league gap.

I know that Suarez and Miyaichi have decent DGWs but I'm not convinced they will do better than Sess and Cisse over these weeks...

    10 + 11 + 7 = 28 games without a hit... but as I've said before I don't want DGWers just because they have a DGW... I want the right ones, and I'm willing to sacrifice an extra DGWer to get the right one...

  Question: 36pts back of ML leader with good differentials(siggy, tonyV, cisse, komp, verm), capt rooney(same as him) or capt valencia(he doesnt have)??

    With Rooney as captain you can't lose any more ground on him regardless of how well he does, whilst gaining on him with your good differentials...
    
    If Valencia does well you'll gain on him anyway... If you captain Valencia and he does well you'll gain even more, but if he doesn't score well and Rooney does, you'll lose even more ground on him...
    
    Therefore, Rooney is the only option here...

  GW 36 do Rooney & Valencia > Adebayor and VDV
  Keep Walcott: GWs 37 & 38: NOR/wba whereas Valencia has SWA/sun and risks being rotated if Man U have already won the title.
  
  VDV is a better option for GWs 36, 37 and 38 than Mata imo.

  Both are good options. I'd normally say, don't take a hit, but all BAE needs to do is score 4 more points than Verm for it to work out, and he'll be someone you want to play in the last 2 fixtures as well.

Really dont know what to do this week guys...have 2 FT and also a wildcard free which will be used for GW36.

Bale - Dempsey - Siggy - Valencia (McClean)
Rooney (C) - Suarez (vc) - RVP.

No money in bank and not a clue on what to do this week....possibly dempsey to sess but its pointless for this gw i feel....?! Any help greatly appreciated for a confused soul!

      Sess (WOL, avl, BOL) + Cisse (BOL)
      versus
      Dempsey (WIG, eve, liv) + Bendtner (WOL) + whoever I benched for Cisse in 33 (which would be tough)

  Dempsey is causing me the same problem too.
  
  If I want to replace him with Walcott in GW33 (he has 2 great fixtures on paper anyway) and get Dempsey back for GW35 then I have to go with McClean.
  
  I'm having second thoughts now though as Dempsey has 2 away games and I think Sess is going to score well between GW34-36 anyway.
  
  it would mean keeping sess for the DGW and only having a max of 7 DGW'ers in GW36.

        Oh you not got much scope to play with in that mf for gw34 with surman and ferguson (I won't mention Suarez)
        
        Not sure how much McLean is nowadays but I would be looking to get him in as an Asda price version of sess.
        
        Going by your cash you may struggle to upgrade surman for him?

  Save transfer for 2 FT's next week .
  
  Do Simpson to Turner (sun) next week and get a GW34 keeper the week after (Vorm would be my recommendation) so you can put out 3 decent defenders.
  
  At the moment you are currently going to put out only 7 players in GW34 and you have 2 DGW36 keepers and you can only play one of them in GW36.

Should I do Moses to Siggy? If so, who should I bench to fit in Siggy? Or should I just save my transfer. Feels like a sideways move selling Moses since he has a game in gw34.

      He has a double double soon BUT he might be rested this week, at least moses plays in Gw 34, you can sell Moses in Gw 35 for another mid who has a double, after all we are talking about Bolton.

I need to make up some points....thinking of bringing in Sturridge for Yakubu and Rafael for Skrtel.

Rafael has put in some amazing performances, yet he is going to be rotated isnt he? I want a second united defender....where should I look? Ferdinand?

My league leader is bringing in Cisse, what other forward besides Sturridge should I look at? Bendtner?

  I'm thinking of bringing in Rafael, he's playing too well to be rotated at the moment, and someone else starting at RB would mess up the balance of the side.
  
  O'Neill's talk of rotation could mean Bendtner sees less game time, and Chelsea have such congested fixtures (though it may be that RDM saves Sturridge for the Prem).
