With Sunderland’s upcoming fixtures affording Fantasy managers a viable route into the conundrum that is Gameweek 34 and double Gameweek 36, Stephane Sessegnon looks primed for investment. The top scoring Fantasy Premier League (FPL) player for Martin O’Neill’s side, Sessegnon has a couple of home games against two of the bottom five and, with the Black Cats performances at the Stadium of Light continuing to impress, the Benin international could be set to profit once again.

Many managers’ transfer plans now turn to the difficult weekend ahead and, with eight sides facing blanks, a tactical alternative is to focus on those with strong fixtures over both Gameweek 34 and 36. One of only three sides with favourable home fixtures in each of those Gameweeks – along with Swansea and West Brom – O’Neill’s outfit face an out-of-sorts Wolves on Saturday before playing host to Bolton in a fortnight’s time. Sandwiched in between is a trip to Villa – a clash that won’t deter Sessegnon’s potential suitors.

Despite their recent hammering at Everton, a look at Sunderland’s contrasting home/away form since the sacking of Steve Bruce indicates just how strong a force the Black Cats are in front of their own fans. While they have picked up 11 points from 10 ten games on the road, the Wearsiders have accrued 20 points from nine home fixtures under O’Neill. Six wins, a couple of draws and a single loss are indicative of their reliable home displays, with Arsenal the only side to escape with the three points.

With two goals, three assists and five bonus points over his eight home appearances under O’Neill, Sessegnon has returned a total of 48 points at the Stadium of Light – an average of six points per home game since Bruce’s dismissal. Indeed, in spite of Sunderland’s poor away form, Sessegnon has remained consistent on the road – a couple of goals, three assists and four bonus points is almost identical to his home returns and will instill plenty confidence ahead of the Gameweek 35 trip to Villa Park.

While a trip to Fulham and home clash with United look tricky, Sessegnon’s short-term fixtures promote him highly in the updated Watchlist rankings and, with Nicklas Bendtner a doubt due to a back injury, he may well be afforded the opportunity to lead the line once again, as O’Neill’s side look to bounce back from the Goodison mauling and finish the season on a high.

Who do people think will get the most points over gw35 & 36, Bogdan or Vorm:

Bogdan (SWA avl, sun TOT) or
    Vorm (bol WOL)

and most importantly, will Bogdan outscore Vorm by over 4 points?

The way I see it, Bogdan won't keep a cleanie in any of those 4, so 8 plus 360mins of saves, whereas I reckon Swans will keep Wolves out, therefore 8 plus 180mins of saves

Quick couple of questions guys so I can plan out my trannies:

    DGW 36 TEAM

    Schwarzer*
    Baines* | Simpson* | Caulker
    Mata/VDV* | Dempsey* | Sessegnon | Sigurdsson
    Adebayor* | Cisse* | RVP

    Subs: Vorm. Walcott. Shotton*. Evans.

    a) Vorm or Schwarzer*
    b) Caulker or Shotton*
    c) Pick 2 of: Walcott, Sessegnon and Sigurdsson

    Thanks in advance gents!!

ok lads thoughts on my 'plans' until the season's end

GW34 - save transfer leaving me with 2 FTs and this

    Mingolet

    Evans, Caulker, Kolarov, Verm

    Sess (vc), Theo, McClean, Siggy

    RvP, (c) Rooney

    De Gea, Cisse, Bale, Santon

    GW 35 - Walcott ➡ Dempsey

    GW36 - Kolarov, McClean and Rooney ➡ Baines, VdV/Mata, Jelavic (-4)

    Mingolet (BOL)

Baines (FUL, sto), Santon (wig, che), Caulker (WOL)

Sess (BOL) Bale (BLA, bol) Dempsey (eve, liv) VdV/Mata

RvP (sto) Cisse (wig, che), Jelavic (FUL, sto)

    De Gea, Siggy, Verm, Evans

GW37 Sess ➡ Moses (and maybe Mata to Theo for a 4 pointer)

    GW38 Dempsey ➡ Lampard

yeah that's why I put the plan in these ' '. It's barring anything unusual.

        Which do you prefer

        VdV/Mata and Jelavic

        or

        Pienaar/HBA and Ade?

50pts behind rival and we both have 5 of the same players this week, including RVP and Rooney. He will captain RVP, is it a decent calculated risk to captain Sessegnon who he doesn't have? I can't see RVP putting loads past Wigan and he might even be rested for this one?

Walcott (IN) for Bale (OUT) gives me the following 11 players for this GW:

    Vorm
    Taiwo / N Taylor / Evans J / Vermaelen
    Valencia / Surman / Sigurdsson / Walcott
    RVP / Rooney

I've no bench whatsoever and I doubt Surman will get many minutes, would it be worth doing McClean (IN), Surman (OUT) for a 4 point hit?

    Evening all, a little advice needed please. I have 1 transfer to use this week and 2.3 in the bank. I don't want to take a hit this week to field 11 so am going to use transfer to field 10. Line up as follows;

    Miggy (Vorm)

JEvans / Caulker / Verm (Shotton* / Santon*)

Sess (VC) / Silva / Valencia / Bale* / Demps*

    Holt / RVP(c)

I'm thinking of Bale > Siggy in order to field 10 players. How's that sound? Any other suggestions chaps? I plan to use WC for DGW.

I'd maybe just swap a defender out instead, allowing you to keep Bale and Demps for their doubles. I reckon those two should be first names on the teamsheet come GW36.

Was listening to talksport earlier, they were saying that rvp should not have taken the pen the way he did!! Showed no respect to wolves etc.
I have never heard so much rubbish in my life. He can take a pen whatever way he likes. Personally I though it was an awesome penalty.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

The $64 000 question this week:

A: Kelly > Turner (would have three Sunderland players)
    B: Kelly > Caulker or McAuley;
    C: Kelly > Turner/Caulker/McAuley & Bale > Walcott (4 point hit).

    Angling for A at present.

I confess this is the second plea for help oday, but I really am a bit stuck and would be very appreciative of some help. I'm top in 3 of my leagues but it is very tight, and I know that it could so very easily go pear shaped over the next few gw's. I'm currently fielding 9 for gw34 with a ft and 4.0 in the bank (so can effectiveky bring in who I like). Moreover I currently have 6 DGW players (although I am unlikely to play Kelly). Current squad (gw34 players marked with a *)

    Mig* (Krul)
    Caulker* JEvans* Verm* (Kelly Baines)
    Siggy* Valencia* McClean* (Bale Dempsey)
    RVP*c Roon* (Ciise)

Transfer options that I am considering for gw34 are:

    1) Kelly>Lescott
    2) Bale>Sess
    3) Bale>Walcott
    4) Kelly>Lescott and Option 2 or 3 for a hit
    5) None and carry the FT over, playing 9 for the GW

Really appreciate some guidance. Many thanks

my plan would be to skipper Aguero and bring in another player. Putting the C on Aguero would at least cover the 4 point-hit....just got a feeling he is going to blow it up over the next couple of GWs and if he does I want him as captain!

Faced with an awkward situation where my planned double team has such a big structural change I may have to pull the trigger a little prematurely on one of the moves, for instance Rooney > Ade, and that I don't want to do.

    Krul
    Baines - Skrtel - Santon - Caulker
    Dempsey - Lampard - Sig - McClean
    RVP - Ade

May just have to get Bale over Lampard in 35, and decide on who comes in up front in 36.
