In this latest article for members, we focus on the midfield area for the problematic Gameweek 34. With several contenders vying for our attention and cherished free transfer, we examine the recent form of four of the top attractions on offer – Stephane Sessegnon, James McClean, Theo Walcott and Gylfi Sigurdsson – using our own ICT Fantasy Index and the data from Opta.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

This might be true. However, you might want him right back for the remainder of the season.
If Siggi doesn't do anything, I think this is an indication that it's time for him to go (although, like Bale, his performances say otherwise.

      See bellow

    13 years, 11 months ago

Well lets do some fantasy math. I have 8 players with 1FT that means 9 players. I am considering a hit for the 10pt player.

Ade to Gabby. That is actually minus 2pt. Then is GW 35, Gabby has a double SUN. BOL and Ade has qpr. So its -2 pts for Gabby and one extra game so only plating time there is 6pts vs 2 and I preally hope Gabby to produce something especially in the double GW right? The only problem is that I will probably want Ade again for GW 36 and that means another 4 pt hit in GW 36.

On the other side we must have in mind the extra cash that I will have for GW 34 and 35 which could also improve the worth of that hit.

So bottom line, should I do it? There seems like there is some math logic nah?

That is only, Looks like he will at least match his score, so seems like no risk transfer? QPR won't be easy for tot, qpr are fighting for there lives atm

      Logic is right mathematically.

Logic in trusting Gabby is not IMO. If you really believe in him to perform, they go for it best of luck.

You're taking a 4 pt hit, and will get 2 back
        = -2
Then you get a double week to Ade's 1 week
        = -2 + 1 game
        Then you take another hit
        = -6 + 1 game

So assuming that he does nothing in the ManU match, you need him to outscore Ade by 6 pts in GW 35 to break even.

        Bad call IMO.

do not replace adebayor, spurs imo have the easiest fixtures until the end of the season than any other team. cant u replace someone else? if not for your hits to worth it, gabby must 'fly' in week 35, and according to his form he wont (even though he is inevitably due to perform as so many other players like graham-who i think he will score big this week)

I’m only 3 points clear of second place in my mini league and we both have fairly similar teams. I’m pretty sure that he’ll be captaining RVP. I really can’t decide between captaining RVP, Walcott, Valencia or Rooney.
I really think United will bounce back from the Wigan defeat with a vengeance against a poor Villa side and desperately want to captain Valencia but if RVP runs riot then I’ll be guaranteed to drop to second place.

    Worth the gamble??

I'd rather save the free transfer for getting double gameweek players, and Valencia is still scoring well anyway.

Chasing a 40 point lead in my mini league. I can only field 10 men this week and have 0 FT's. Do you think its worth a 4 point hit to switch out any of my none starters? I cant decide!
The guy im chasing can also only play 10 but i think he has a free transfer left.

    Ruddy (Krul)

J Evans Cauluker Turner (Simpson Walker)

    McClean Silva Valencia Dyer (Bale)

Hey all which of these would you do?

    A) GW34 Shotton to Kompany with FT to give me 11 players
    B) Save FT and play with 10 players and GW35 do Rooney + McClean to Cisse and Dempsey
    C) GW34 Shotton to Kompany and GW35 Rooney + McClean to Cisse and Dempsey for 4 point hit

    Cheers for help

Bugger.....just came to anounce my detailed investigations had led to the decision to field 11 in GW34 by bringing in Sess rather then saving a transfer......and now this article leaves me doubts again!

What were your findings? I'm trying to decide if its worth doing a sess - bale then back again switch, but it will cost two transfers (8 points). Or go without bale

That's where I'm at too. As poor as Bale's form has been , I can't see getting rid for Dempsey , so it would have to be Valencia.
I'm trying to comfort myself with the knowledge that as of late, Dempsey's away form has only been vs Bolton...

Being a bit more conservative has served me well this year.

I'm only fielding 9 this week, but with 3 Utd and 3 Ars both at home that should be enough in my mini league. Save the FTs for DGW

But i am already planning kompany, walcott and rooney to baines, dempsey and adebayor for the double. Using all free transfers. So bale - sess - then back again would cost 8 points (2 hits)

          thats 3 points for 90mins and cs 4 poins + bp's

I think RVP. Back in form.

People saying that Rooney will score big and Man Utd will demolish Villa because of losing to Wigan, but in the 3 games post-defeats this season Rooney hasn't scored and has just 10 points.
