Big. Huge. Game. It’s here – the Manchester derby, the title decider already billed as the biggest clash in the twenty year history of the Premier League. How’s that for hype? Can tonight’s Etihad clash really measure up? We have our Dugout Discussion chatroom open to catch all the excitement, or lack of, as it unfolds.

The team news perhaps already tells a tale. City, content with their recent outstanding form, go with an unchanged lineup which means no place for Micah Richards who returns to the bench alongside Mario Balotelli, straining at the leash.

Sir Alex Ferguson, perhaps going all out to avoid defeat, shuffles the pack with Antonio Valencia and Danny Welbeck benched for the experience of Ryan Giggs and the industry of Ji-Sung Park. Phil Jones replaces the loose cannon that is Rafael at right-back, while Chris Smalling is called in to partner Rio Ferdinand. Those reports on Jonny Evans’ injury seemingly checking out, then, as United’s rock in recent weeks is kept sidelined.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

which is why i am totally mystified by the fact that so many seem to think transferring him back in for Cisse is a recipe for success next week... when RVP is at home to an out of form Norwich

Agree, although united might go on the goal trail in the faint hope of clawing it back, even though he's a clown he could still score big. {REF: Suarez/Torres (gw 36)} 🙂

United needing a win, goal difference probably out of the equation but if they knocked in a couple early, they could easily get 4 or 5. RVP less Walcott & Arteta.

Was desperate to win H2H against my opponent. I did 12 pts hit while he used his WC and he got in 11 DGW players.

Me: Terry, Petrov, VDV (c), Jelavic
Him: Bosingwa, Walker, Simpson, Etherington, Cisse(C), Torres + 5 poiints

He is most likely to win unless VDV and Jelavic do me proud. He was so lucky to get Bosingwa CS just before Chelsea conceded, and the walker goal.

    Can I win ?

Keep aguero. United know how to win by defending for 89 mins and getting a goal in stoppage time. City need to score 3 or more ftw. Besides United will be playing for points not goals. Bench bale: overrated these days

Not too bothered on that side, Huth vs Bolton would be fine.

Chelsea has the cup final between the match against NEW and liv. They still have a decent evens chance to finish in top 4 even if they lose the CL final. So league surely is a priority too. So don't see why they would rest Torres against NEW. They can always start Drogba in the cup final.

Right up until the point where Torres scored a hat-trick i would have said it was easy to see who would play the league games and who would play the cup finals... but form is a fickle mistress...

Hey guys, first time posting here so go easy 😛

Wondering if the FF experts that you all are here would so oblige as to make predictions for my final score this GW. Would love to break the century, currently on 90 points with Jelly (c), what do you think my chances are?

    Link above.

100% you break the century. With 8 players to go, you might easily be 135 this week. Nice jump into the top 1k sir. Well done

United's display as lacklustre as that of Rovers at White Hart Lane too harsh an assessment?

They weren't great. Rio, Evra, Jones and Giggs played well. Rooney, Park, Smalling and Nani were poor. It was a fairly scrappy game but to a man, City played brilliantly, particularly Yaya.

Comparable perhaps.... but i couldn't imagine City stopping at 1-0 against that Blackburn side...
