Rotation bites hard for Liverpool as Kenny Dalglish makes multiple changes for the visit of Fulham. Clint Dempsey drew another blank to return a mere five point double Gameweek, Tony Hibbert follows up his clean sheet against Fulham with an assist at Stoke, as the Potters keep Nikica Jelavic quiet at the Britannia:

Liverpool Rotation
Having clinched a 3-0 victory at Norwich on Saturday evening, Liverpool welcomed Fulham to Anfield in confident mood. Any chance of building momentum ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup Final against Chelsea was quashed, however, as Kenny Dalglish’s decision to make nine changes to his first XI backfired. Much to the frustration of their Fantasy owners, the likes of Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard, Pepe Reina and Daniel Agger were all handed the night off but a 1-0 defeat, courtesy of a Martin Skrtel own goal, means the Reds have picked up a single point in their last five at Anfield. A home match in Gameweek 37, ironically against Chelsea, offers Dalglish’s side the chance of a final home win of the campaign – after last night’s debacle, the Liverpool boss will surely roll out his first-choice XI next time round, as his side’s league campaign stutters to an unimpressive close.

Clint Dempsey
So often the saviour of double Gameweeks, a pair of away fixtures proved the undoing of Dempsey this time round. The top scoring Fantasy Premier League (FPL) midfielder returned just five points over his two games and has now gone three games without a goal – equalling his worst run of the season. With a home game against Sunderland up next, though, his Fantasy owners will be confident of the points – the Black Cats have recorded just two clean sheet in 11 away games since Martin O’Neill replaced Steve Bruce in December.

Fulham Defence
The Cottagers banished the memories of last weekend’s 4-0 thrashing at Everton by returning a clean sheet an Anfield – their second in the last three away games. With Stephen Kelly recovered from a wrist injury, Aaron Hughes returned to centre-half alongside Brede Hangeland, with Philippe Senderos dropping out. Considering that Sunderland have failed to score in four of their last six on the road, Martin Jol’s side look a decent bet for another clean sheet this weekend.

Tony Hibbert
While Nikica Jelavic’s goal glut came to an end at the Britannia, the 4.8 priced right-back picked up an assist for Peter Crouch’s own goal, bringing his tally for the double Gameweek to 11 points – only Steven Pienaar (16) and Jelavic (14) provided more. Hibbert now has three assists in his last three appearances and a total of five for the season; Leighton Baines has mustered a mere two for the Toffees all term. Hibbert is now second only to Baines for points amongst the Everton back-four but, with the latter coming in at 7.8, the right-back has been far better value over the course of the campaign.

Stoke’s double Gameweek
Two home fixtures over the Gameweeks offered the chance of Fantasy returns but with Arsenal and Everton the visitors, it ended somewhat flat for Tony Pulis’ side. The Potters remained unbeaten over their pair of games but, with a couple of 1-1 draws, they have now gone nine games without returning a clean sheet. Peter Crouch and Matthew Etherington picked up the most points, with seven apiece, while Cameron Jerome climbed off the bench last night to notch his side’s equaliser. Pulis’ side have now gone six unbeaten at the Britannia – an ominous sign for Bolton, with the Trotters likely to need a win on the final day of the season to clinch survival.

I have had to gaurantee certain things to the police (don't particulaly want to go into details of what) as there was an accident and someone's brains were basically scattered after being hit by an object... (instant death obviously) Everything should be ok just a bit worrying as when you sign something here you better be damn sure about it.... I have an indemnity from the other company but that's not really worth much if all goes wrong...

We live the first 20 years of our life growing and learning, the next 20 trying to get a foothold in our work and social side ie /homes/promotions/partners/children etc . We spend the next 20 copperfastning our previous 20 and finally we spend the last 20 (if were lucky) falling into disrepair and trying to die with dignity-that's the meaning of life my friend.

I'd say so. I don't particularly love Cisse's remaining fixtures and I think his form is more likely than not to tail off. Can see a big United response. I think I will do that transfer myself.

Okay, can I ask you another? Please.

Okay, so who do you think will win the title and whom should United sign in the summer ideally?

You may ask as much as you want to.

I think City will win the title but I can also easily see them screw up. More likely that they win for me still.

I think United should sign central players to release the creative burden of Wayne Rooney. Kagawa who they recently have been linked a lot with sounds good to me for example. Think Modric could fit in well too, or Javi Martinez even if he's a deeper player.

But what role would Kagawa fit into? Would he be a part of a midfield 2? Him and Carrick?

I think yes. Either that or you can work with a formation with a lone striker, but that doesn't make perfect sense either with good young strikers like Welbeck in the squad. Perhaps he could play in a formation without two recognized strikers too.

Overall I think United are not as good on the ball as we've been accustomed to recently and that Carrick and Scholes together may be found out against pressing and passing.

If you REALLY want to know, and if Mark will excuse me, I suggest you head over to FISO and ask. There are some fellas over there that have been around for ages and they might know if it was around before 2002/03.

    Howard
    Evans Terry Taiwo
    McClean Dempsey Bale VDV
    Rooney Jelavic RVP(C)

    Bogdan Jagielka Sigurdsson Caulker

We will play a strong team tonight - we have to.

Torres will start this eve then be on bench on Saturday.

Expect players to come off early if we get the lead though.

My ideal scenario though is that we dont get 4th but win the champs league and Tottenham are relegated to the UEFA cup.

So I only got 10 pts last night, but my minileague rival only got 3....so lead back up to 60.

I'm not overly confident on tonight, a Chelsea clean sheet and non Bale assisted VDV goal would be very painful for me.

Me - Simpson, Bale, Cisse (C)
Him -Vdv (C), Petrov, Terry, williamson

they certainly should ban him from ever driving a vehicle and give him one of those stupid tags he likes to wear. He is an Idiot and everyone should be reminded of this every time they see him.

*dont agree with locking people like that up though. The prisons are full of people who shouldnt be there - but thats a totally different juan (MATA)

We've had the BPs from the Monday match.
0 for Yaya. Despite most commentators giving him MOTM. A yellow card must wipe out all all BP chances.

What a roller-coaster of a GW. On 15 (-4) Saturday evening, I was inconsolable, cursing my 'wisdom' of swerving the toffees for the DGW. I was ready to relinquish my ml crowns. Now, 71(-4), with Williamson, Terry, DVD(c), Ramires and Cissé to come, my stock is on the rise again and a cautious hope springs forward in the depth of my FF soul. In the words of liquid snake near the end of Metal Gear Solid,
"It's not over yet Snake, we're not finished yet!"

I love this game sometimes. Mostly I love to hate it though.

I've got a major defensive crisis for next week which is messing with my transfer plans.

    Schwarzer (Cech)
Simpson (i). Evans (i). Vermaelen. (Caulker. Shotton)
    VDV. Valencia. Dempsey. Mata. (Sigurdsson)
    Rooney. Cisse. Jelavic

    Should I do:

    a) Cisse + Valencia > RVP + Moses and stick with Shotton as first sub with Simpson and Evans starting?

    b) Sigurdsson + Simpson > Moses + Kaboul/Hibbert and play Moses over Mata. This mean NO RVP for Norwich.

    c) Vermaelen + Cisse > RVP + Gibbs and stick with Shotton as first sub with Simpson and Evans starting? A bit of a sideways move with Gibbs, but it will fund RVP in.

    Thanks all!! Appreciate the help
