With the bumper Gameweek 36 decided on Wednesday night, and finalised with bonus points on Thursday, we are down to just four Fantasy managers chasing glory in the Paddy Power Cup VI.

As you would expect, we had monster scores all round in the Quarter-Finals, with dannn‘s respectable 85 nowhere near the grade…

3mch10385dannn
4stumanchuu93111Optimus

It looked like all four ties would go as expected, with the highest-ranked side in each all notching centuries. However, rank outsider ajay_kl upset the apple cart and produced a brilliant 110 to eliminate Rickys Army by just four points (effectively three considering their respective overall ranks).

On to the Semis then, where only one of our final four will go home empty-handed…

Do we think Valencia will start?

    Struggling to decide who to bench out of;

    Dempsey/Valencia/Moses/Bale/Pienaar

I stupidly brought him in for Surman this week for a 4pt hit !!
Chasing and panic transfered him in so rekon i should play him!
Really considering benching valencia?! What an error!

Valencia will play imo, didn't start against City and that was a mistake, still Utd's form player, I think it will be Young and Valencia on the wings.

Bench Moses, it's a shame but has to be down!

    Krul (Vorm)

    Walker Vermaelen Evans (Rangel, Turner)

    Dempsey VDV BenArfa Sess (Siggy)

    CIsse RVP Jelavic

    I'm thinking of doing :

    IN: Rooney, Pienaar, Moses
    OUT : Cisse, Sess, BenArfa

That's an 8 point hit. Is it worth it?

    Or any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

Switch Rooney to Aguero and your good to go - at least the 8 pt hit will have a lasting effect for next week as well.

What’s all this shenigan about semi finals in the H2H leagues? I’m 7 points clear….doesn’t that count for owt? That’s why the football league playoffs are BS. Finish 3rd with 10 points more than 6th, but 6th place might go up……there must be advantage to having gained more points throughout the season…..

I'm in a public H2H and quite happy that there's a play-off - I couldn't be caught at the top if it stayed league, but it's more exciting this way and I don't know the people so don't really care what happens.

If it was my mates league H2H I'd be furious!

Hey guys, need some advice as well.

    Bodgdan Cech
    Huth Gibbs Hibbert
    VdV Bale Moses Dempsey
    Rooney Jelly Cisse
    (Barfa Evans Simpson)

    A. Bodgan or Cech in goal?
    B. Cisse>RVP
    or Barfa>Nani (bench Bale)
or save transfer for next week

Main rival (19p behind) doesn't have RVP (but Cisse )and has most likely gone for Nani.

Cisse -> RVP to be confirmed in a matter of minutes. I'm truly a badass.

Yes do it. The fewer people who have Cisse the better. I dont have him and its ruined my season!! Also, prob makes sense on fixtures even though he seems fixture proof

I'd gamble on Maloney as a differential if you're chasing, Also think Arsenal are more likely to keep a clean sheet.

    Howye lads,
Martinez gets manager of the month, elavic gets player.
If it's like other months both will flop this weekend, which I really don't want!

Its a myth, it doesnt get noticed when a player/Manager of the month does well afterwards cos they were doing well anyway

My rival has pulled out a 30 point lead and has a team value of only 101m. He has a strikeforce of Jelly/Dave/Ade. I thinmk I can pull it back this week with Jelly/Shrek/RVP.

Just one question........... (c) Shrek or RVP?

First to five seals it for me

Fri night head melt, need some advice 🙂

    GW37 team

    Krul (Vorm)
    Komp, Walker, Evans (Kilgallon Caulker)
    Bale, Pien, Val, Demp (HBA)
    Cisse, Jel, Aguero

Protecting a 23pt ML lead & rival has very similar team except with Sigg,Roo, though they've taken a 4pt hit this week. What you think of the choices below?

    a) Aguero > Roo(C)
    b) Aguero > RVP(C)
    c) Kilgallon > Verm (bench Evans)
    d) a/b + c (4pt hit)
    e) Keep the FT
