It’s the penultimate weekend of the 2011/12 Premier League season, and only Wolves know their fate. Although nothing can be officially decided today, the Dugout Dugout opens for seven games with huge significance at both ends of the table. We start with arguably the biggest game of the day, as Manchester City travel to Newcastle United, with the title and Champions League qualification on the line. Here’s how both sides line-up…

Newcastle XI: Krul, Perch, Williamson, Coloccini, Santon, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Tiote, Gutierrez, Cisse, Ba.

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Lescott, Kompany, Clichy, Nasri, Toure Yaya, Barry, Silva, Aguero, Tevez

Unsurprisingly, after two massive wins this week, both sides name unchanged line-ups.

Should City falter at the Sports Direct Arena, then attention and intrigue with turn to Old Trafford to see how the Champions can respond at home to Swansea.

In and amongst those two huge games, there’s five games kicking off at 2pm. They include three of the five sides desperately trying to avoid relegation with Aston Villa facing third-place chasing Spurs, QPR hosting Stoke, and Bolton welcoming the visit of West Brom.

Follow all the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which can be accessed right here.

9pts behind my leader now, I have 2FT and 3.6m in the bank. What are the must changes I need to make to my team? Capitals are the players we both have 😉

    Vorm
    KOMPANY, Vermaelen, Evans
    DEMPSEY, vdv, BALE, VALENCIA
    RVP, JELAVIC, Cisse

    Mignolet, SIGGY, Enrique, Turner

My initial thoughts were Bale & Demsey > Toure & Moses

anyone think paul scholes celebration hurt united?

if he had carried the ball back to the centre circle hurling his arms in the air trying to get the fans on side it would have lifted the crowd and got united going

instead he miserably walked back to the centre circle and the place was dead and united were resigned to losing the title.

Paul scholes doing a back flip and somersault wouldn't have won us the title.

Do you honestly think that Man Utd could have gone on to score another 8 after that??
They've blown an 8pt lead and Man City effectively won the league today.

It would have been all a bit delusional to think they had a chance.

Rooney yelling Jones for a sh*t cross, then later delivering 2 sh*t crosses in a row could not have helped.

Would be nice - struggling to see how he'd deserve one, though, what with 2 goals that he didn't assist. Goalscorers for 3 and 2, and The 1pt will probably go to one of the assisters.
