FPL 2012/13 Is Now Open

And we’re off….Having released the Player Price List earlier on this week, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game is now officially up and running for the 2012/13 campaign, allowing us to tinker with our teams ahead of the big kick-off on Saturday August 18:

In conjunction with Tuesday’s revelation, our coverage of the player valuations continues to pick up pace. Having rolled out our analysis of the Goalkeepers and Defenders, we followed that up with a look at the Midfielders earlier this afternoon – no prizes for guessing the Forwards are on tomorrow’s agenda.

For now, though, let’s not waste any further time – our patience has been tested enough. Head off to the official site and get your team registered for the new season, folks, and let the planning begin.

    Just been using the compare tool to compare Rooney's Home Vs Away form as well as Aguero''s Home Vs Away form.

    Seeing as how when Man City are at home Man United are away for every game week there home form would rotate perfectly.

    This would however mean having a perfect team so you could use your 1 FT each GW to swap them round or carrying an away player/having a 11.5m/12m player on the bench.

    Worth looking at just for the interest though, immense tool btw.

      I think both will improve away.

      Aguero has 1 year of PL experience behind him, and Tevez back. Rooney has Kagawa to feed him the ball more quickly, and to drop deep if we are getting outnumbered in midfield allowing Rooney to stay advanced.

      Tevez seems likely to start for City and RvP could end up going anywhere. If it appears that he's going to happily stay at Arsenal I imagine he will find his way into a few teams.

      I still might; If Boris Becker is to be believed he will duly be under serious consideration.

      That said, if he does leave this may still be the case depending on how City's lines up in attack this season. Assuming he goes to City.

      beg and jussi are the best IMO, your team has way too many risks for my liking (5 players from newly promoted sides + 3 new signings) Also Torres might be considered a risk because of the last 2 years (hope he will do great this year though)

    I think we should stop making such a fuss about the I.D. numbers,
    or the government will turn it into a tradeable commodity like carbon offsetting or fishing quotas.
    Then we'll never afford anything under 100K. 😉

      If he gets a run in the team then he would do very well. Was the best at running with the ball even when Young and Downing were there. But he's injured so play safe and go for N'Zogbia.
