In addition to recently publishing the first set of Pre-Season Player Projections, we’ve also rolled out a selection of new stat maps in the Members Area.

Currently these are available via the Match Dashboard, allowing you to view events such as Goal Attempts, Chances Created, Crosses, Passes, Tackles, Clearances and Blocks in any given match. You can also filter these by any player in the match to get a view of his performance for any of the stats in question.

We’ve got more stat maps to add to the selection, most notably a touches heatmap. Before that, however, we’ll be adding these new stat maps to the Player Profiles and Compare Tool to allow the analysis of the maps over a range of Gameweeks.

havent seen many teams going with howard. after gw1 could one argue everton have the best run of fixtures up through gw13?

thinking howard/federici, taking the double then rolling howard out every week.

Assuming we exclude Rooney and Aguero, who is your vote for next highest scoring forward of the season, and why?

I have this feeling that if Everton can avoid their slow start it could well be Jelavic. Because he is the major scoring force in a solid everton team with some nice assisters behind him, (pienaar, Baines, Naismith (if he plays in the hole), Fellani, Osman).

Else Ade if he goes to Tot. Because he is their only viable forward really.

      Agreed. Can't believe I'm saying this but, after reading a chapter of a book, I'd say they're even worse than ManUre...!!!
      
      A book I HIGHLY recommend to any football fan. A VERY different perspective into the game we all watch and love. Its a must read football book.

  he had a slow start to the season last year, that was mainly because he celebrates Ramadan which meant he couldn't eat from sun up to sun down, this year Ramadan finishes 18 of august so he might start well, that is if he isnt being played in a deeper roll

  It's pretty good, i would try to find 0.5 somewhere so you could get rid of Lampard ang get Bale after the dgw. Change Graham to Petric, Sinclair is enough cover for Swansea

      Not really, Hazard and Wilson are good but i don't like Pog. Maybe downgrade Maloney to Guthrie or Noble to O'Neill to get that 0.5 and than get Hazard.

Bored, so I thought I'd do this;

My personal FPL disasters 2011/12;

1) Picking Hilario (I think Cech was out for 3 GWs) Chelsea got zero CS and I never got around to replacing him for weeks and weeks and weeks.
2) When I did get rid of Hilario, I bought Sorensen (the very week he was dropped for Begovic)
3) I never had RTaylor, ever. That fecker killed me.
4) I got Micah Richards in, he was dropped.
5) I had Karl Henry and Formica in my team..and not just for one week.

My personal FPL highlights 2011/12;

1) Dempsey (vc) GW27 (28 points) when Aguero was rested at home to Norwich.
2) Walters (vc) (24 points) when Rooney was dropped for his boxing day booe up.
3) BAE...DGW baby.
4) Howard scoring a goal baby.
5) Suarez and VDV DGW captains baby.

  Your no.1 highlight is ironically my no.1 disaster: I was one of those who (c) Aguero and (vc) Silva! (Neither played a minute.)

      Indeed! Had been bigging him up for a while and saying he was due a performance and was sure to play in the Derby. Many opted for Adam instead. Really propelled me up the rankings that week did 🙂

  2) Benching and Selling Ben Arfa just before he hit form.
  3) Hopping alongside Jonty on the Fletcher bandwagon, that didn't go too well.
  4) I got Micah Richards in, he was dropped. Same
  5) Failing to sell Silva once he hit his bad streak.

  3) Bringing in Eagles for his 15 point haul against Stoke

  Best moments:
  
  1. Picking Adebayor from his first match right up until January before ditching right before his slump.
  2. Ditching Bale for Walcott as Bale stopped getting any attacking points and Walcott started to go nuts.
  3. Captaining VDV for the DGW, that was fun.
  4. Captaingin Rooney for his large early season hauls.
  
  Worst:

OK Doos making sense. The difficulties of your ticker matches look sensible. Difficulties worked out by difference of the participants' difficulty. I think the big difference is that you have really accentuated the home advantage - some big differences betweeen home and away difficulties there. That's good as it really does make a difference.

Boring half Milan v Chelsea. Terry looks like a threat from set pieces and Hazard has made some decent runs but thats it. Lukaku looks very isolated and Mereiles has been rubbish behind the striker. Want to see Torres come on and link with Hazard.
