New Match Stat Maps Now in Members Section

In addition to recently publishing the first set of Pre-Season Player Projections, we’ve also rolled out a selection of new stat maps in the Members Area.

Currently these are available via the Match Dashboard, allowing you to view events such as Goal Attempts, Chances Created, Crosses, Passes, Tackles, Clearances and Blocks in any given match. You can also filter these by any player in the match to get a view of his performance for any of the stats in question.

We’ve got more stat maps to add to the selection, most notably a touches heatmap. Before that, however, we’ll be adding these new stat maps to the Player Profiles and Compare Tool to allow the analysis of the maps over a range of Gameweeks.

    Hazard and Marin still looking very sharp, as per the whole pre season. Marin in particular might not be content with a bit-part role if he keeps performing as he is, been the standout player for me in these games.

        Agree with that, will be annoyed if he's not given the games in the league if he keeps performing as he is, so might not be a great fantasy option. It'll be unfortunate, as he's potentially a brilliant fantasy player.

        Not sure Giggsy, Mata likely wont play a part, reckon we will see Hazard central, Marin left and Rambo right for the first two games at least. Time will tell though...

            Torres will get a run of games at the start of the season. If Hazard plays wide we have no natural replacement to play in the hole behind Torres, Marin the only real option for the left side, especially with Malouda likely to leave eventually.

      Marin looks very good this pre-season. Stand-out player as you say, with Hazard not far behind I reckon. Not been overly convinced by Brana of all people, has had me worried a few times.

      Reckon Marin would be a good shout for a Chelsea mid if you're switching out after the DGW.

        Yep, seems very sluggish, might just be pre-season lack of fitness though. Our whole back 4 in the PSG game was worryingly shite, looked so leaky.

          The Chelsea defence confuses the hell out of me. They can hold off Barcelona and Bayern Munich and look like one of the best defences of all time, and they can also look like a Wolves defence or a Derby '08 defence.

          Completely agree, PSG game was terrifying defensively. Luiz looking quite sharp this game, Terry too. Brana seems to be behind fitness-wise somehow.

        If I were to have Rambo would be just for week 1 I guess, Hazard looks like a decent longer term bet. Plus with Ramires, you run the risk of him playing as one of the two deeper players.

              Mata once back will have half corners and direct FKs at least. Think tonight was clearest indication of role for Frank so far this pre season, especially with Meireles playing in the hole from the start rather than Lamps, rarely interchanged too.

              Would love nothing more than for him to get 17 this season and top the scoring charts!

      I think Pog is a donkey from having watched him in the German league, but that's just my opinion. I think he just got flukey with that start at Fulham..I would avoid.

    hey all,
    got a couple of questions
    firstly does anyone know of some very cheap Pen/ Set piece takers (preferably defenders/mids)

    also
    at 4.5 for a mid)
    i was thinking
    frei or
    El Ahmadi
    also
    is it worth getting on cuellar? if i do i have 5mil for the aforementioned mid,

    current team looks like this
    DDG/ Henderson
    Lescott,Hangeland,Cole (Cuellar, Clynne)
    Bale,Dembele,silva,Nolan (5mil or less mid)
    Roonpig, Graham, Torres

      I think Noble takes pens at 5mil (correct me if I'm wrong). I have Cuellar in my team in a Fulham / Suderland / Stoke rotation. 4.5 mil mids I think Frei is the best option if Dempsey leaves.

          I thought about Dembele and am pretty sure he's nailed on. However, I asked about him and was told he isn't attacking enough. More of a box-to-box midfielder than a goal scorer.

    Chelsea lose 1-0 to Milan. Not really liking the look of them right now. Was a reasonably serious friendly, strong teams. Hazard had flashes of skill but little created let alone end product. Might just go for Torres (plus Cole), and even then not seeing any encouragement...
