Set Piece Takers Table Now Live

Another piece in the Fantasy Football Scout jigsaw for the new season was restored this evening, with the Set Piece Takers table published and added to the top menu bar.

Andy has rinsed through all the Premier League clubs and added details for all the Penalty, Direct Free Kick and Corner/Indirect Free Kick takers. When it comes to Penalties and Free Kicks, the players are listed according to the current perceived pecking order.

As we get more data from the pre-season matches, we’ll be refreshing the table accordingly. Plus, once the season starts, we’ll be keeping this table up to date to reflect any changes and pecking order shuffles for each team.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Loving this Al-Habsi love. I started this one. I'll be getting him in when I get back on FPL, but am likely to pair him with Fed so I can have Fabio. Don't see any major issues.

        registration is open for another 5 days, then we have to sift through and eliminate the lurkers (if Parm isn't doing that already). After that we have to look at people's league and team preferences and allocate them according to our selection criteria. Of the 120 places on offer. myself, Parm, Udit, TW and Pratik as council members get automatic entry. So do ENR and Duffman as last year's winners. Doos, Isacki, LightKnight, Eoin, GO and Rick also get automatic entry as FFS contributors. This leaves around 100 places left and around 120-130 applicants to fill them.

    What are people thoughts of Vertonghen being a big attacking threat. Verminator first season from Ajax scored 7. He was also know for scoring at Ajax. With vertonghen with better goal scoring stats then Verm aat Ajaz I think he will be a great shout.

              A few times. I grew up on chinese food but I do really like Vietnamese. Its similar but still a bit different. I prefer how you guys do noodles. I found it less stodgy as well, but that might just be my dads cooking.

      Depends. What are you doing, GK-wise?

      If you have a big hitter (DDG, Cech, etc.), then it largely doesn't matter - as they'll always be benched.

      If you're rotating with another cheapie GK, then you want to find a pair that rotate well with each other. So, the best 4.5 GK depends on who your other GK is.

      Here's a defensive rotation spreadsheet that you can check out to simplify your choices/fixture analysis.

    So I'm having GK issues - have been on Migs & Federici for a while now, but the DGW aside I'm not convinced I'd ever really want to play Federici, and their rotation isn't that good. Rangel is in my defence, but switching Migs & Rangel -> Vorm & Cuellar gives ideal GK rotation and retains SUN defensive coverage - the way to go?

      I think B, mainly because you will probably want to have at least 2 big guns up front during the season and A) makes this very difficult. Also, Mata is unlikely to play both games in the DGW imo. That said, I'd try and find another 0.5m to upgrade Britton -> Maloney

        It's good fun and makes for great banter beating colleagues, kids and, especially, lads at the water hole. I plan to rotate Sinclair / Michu (or a Swan mid) for Pienaer / Sess / Nolan (or straight transfer for Nolan. Also considered Rangel for Coloccini due to fixtures (too may have Williams). About forwards, will rotate high cost players with Cisse / Bent and budget players with Lambert / Sharp / Holt / Graham, etc.
