I don't know if it's just FPL fatigue or whatever but I'm getting seriously more turned off to Chelsea's DGW as time goes on. They're not firing in pre-season (and more than that, looking downright shoddy), there's fixture congestion for them outside those two games that makes the crazy-depth-squad-rotation even MORE difficult to call than it already is week to week.
There's every chance United are going to start the season on as much of a high as possible and I'd be without cover for their GW1 if I do the Torres-Rooney thing.
I'm currently thinking something like.
A) Dempsey stays at Fulham.
GW1: Demps/Torres
GW2: Torres->Rooney
B) Dempsey leaves
GW1: Mata/Rooney
GW2: No transfer.
I mean, I'm kinda going against what I said earlier but I think if it comes down to it I'd keep Mata, but I'd RATHER have Dempsey at Fulham for my 9.5, you know? And I can base GW1 and 2 around that to ONLY have 1 Chelsea player.
