We may have suffered inauspicious starts to the season but there’s no denying it, we just love Fantasy Football.

For all his grumpiness and bile, Granville’s enthusiasm spills over as we both dive into the hot topics of the week: Juan Mata’s decline, Eden Hazard’s rise, the Rooney vs Van Persie question, whether Granville is the dopey one.

All these issues and more are addressed in the next 38-minutes, along with the return of All Aboard, the weekend preview and the first decisions to be made with the ailing ScoutCast XI. It’s my turn to play Pat Rice to Granville’s Arsene Wenger this week and, to script, I prove to be more of a hindrance than a help.

    if you had to pick between xavi and iniesta who would you pick? is it even possible to distinguish the two?

      I was thinking about this earlier. Xavi edges it slightly based on sentiment and the fact I watched most of his games in his debut season but they are most equally amazing.

        Don't spoil it with such a silly comment. Anyone who knows football knows how talented and instrumental a footballer he is. There aren't many midfielders like him that come along in a lifetime. Appreciate.

          good midfielder. He had 2 great years starting from euros 2008. He's no legend IMO when u talk about his skills just a legendary trophy cabinet because he played in dream spanish and barca sides. People who compare him to zidane or even scholes and pirlo just started watching football 2008

    Your 2nd transfer would have to at least score and assist to make it worthwhile.....

      Just score. And with BPs as they are, awarded to goalscorers mostly, it's not a terrible deduction. *if* you pick the right goalscorer.

      seems like such a simple question, doesn't it?

      There are definitely "good" hits to take, and you need to take a longer view than just the next gameweek. Don't let 4 points stop you from getting rid of some dead weight and picking up some form players.

    OK, logic check needed here.

    I preferred to hold my free transfer this week and have two for GW3 - see the deadline transfers and also how Spurs, Man U line up.

    But Mata about to drop tonight.

    So I should just do Mata ---> Bale now, and be done with it? Leave it a week and I'm left with 1.9m for upgrading Torres

    Or do Mata ---> Kagawa instead, either this week or next, and not worry about the price drop?

      1, Carzola's fixtures are not the best at the moment and I would give him some time to warm up. And as for Nasri, I have never felt safe having him in my team, I feel like 1 week isn't enough to make me want to get him.
