Settle down, we’ve no less than three Premier League encounters to take us into Antiques Roadshow, with Fantasy points hopefully continuing to flow following yesterday’s drama. We’ve opened our Dugout Discussion chatroom to capture the real-time chatter, just in time for our first kick-off at Anfield, as Liverpool face the Gunners. Full line-ups here are…

Liverpool XI: Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Enrique, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard, Sterling, Borini, Suarez.
Substitutes: Jones, Carragher, Shelvey, Downing, Henderson, Kelly, Coates.

Arsenal XI: Mannone, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Cazorla, Arteta, Diaby, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Giroud, Podolski.
Substitutes: Koscielny, Martinez, Santos, Ramsey, Coquelin, Gervinho, Walcott.

Later today, we’re treated to Newcastle vs Villa and Southampton vs United at St Mary’s. With Carlos Tevez delivering on his captaincy promised yesterday, all eyes will now be on Robin Van Persie as he takes on the Saints as United’s chief goal threat in the absence of the injured Wayne Rooney.

Enjoy today’s games, we’ll see you on the other side with the Stock Check…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Saints FC around? Need to congratulate that lad. Massive massive performance from them.

United defending was abysmal to say the least. Lambert going off won us the game.

    RVP, is just, beautiful.

"I think young David made a mistake last week [against Fulham]," he told Sky Sports. "He knows it. With the form he's been in, he's been making some fantastic saves, but one error like that could have cost us the game.

What about the errors Cech and other keepers have done? They weren't dropped.

Most other teams have worse back up goalkeepers so can't really afford to drop their main goalkeeper. Plus De Gea is young and could probably do with a bit of tough love

Yea, but it shatters his confidence. He was amazing in the end of last season and since the beginning of this season. Plus, it wasn't really his mistake.

Had Vermaelen and Cazorla last week.....w.c left me with Vertonghen and Bale.

HAVE ...Yaya, Ben Arfa and both Tevez and RVP(C).

I just gained a lot of ground on everyone in my personal leagues/friends leagues.

Lots of important questions though now. No Michu, no Cazorla anymore, and Kun and all the new transfers not in the game, will be available in two weeks.

    FPL up yet??

It would be so much more ideal if it was after gw4 that we had the international break. Will have to an additional week (after gw4), before I do Kagawa->B.Arfa, and Noble->McClean/A.Johnson. Am I thinking right?

I'm kicking myself now - on a WC and didn't bring in RVP last night before his rise. Didn't think (still don't?) he is worth over 13.2m

Gonna hurt too much to go without him I fear. Would mean Sterling instead of Yaya though, quite a downgrade.

This might be a bit off-topic from what most are talking about, but does anyone think Podolski will demonstrate continued value over the next few weeks. I am trying to sort out my 3rd striker and I love Podolski, but aside from Santi and him, the teams attack seems a bit weak, though Poldi can score by himself if he really feels the need to. (I do already have Cazorla so it might just be Gunner-love that makes me want to have Poldi too).

I think far too many of you are knee-jerking and toying with 8 point hits/early use of wildcards to get RVP in. Similarly for the likes of Cazorla. One good game week, a fantasy player does not make.

Wasn't a RVP goalfest inevitable at some point or another?

Is not a little 'patience grasshopper' needed at times like this?
