        podolski looked like he had no idea what he was doing when he was lone front man GW1. Giroud at least has good positioning and stays high, makes runs behind. I think the Giroud hate is a little overblown here this morning (not that that's what your post was saying).

        I think Arteta and Diaby are both at risk, depending on form. Both are not known to be injury proof either.

            I think you're miss the point of what a good performance is. Consider his workrate and support play when his team-mates are in possession also. Not just whether he does assists and scores goals.

    At least Giroud is getting in these positions, I'd imagine he just needs that first goal. People on his back about it but Suarez misses all the time and no-one calls him the new chamakh etc

      Suarez has better movement around the 18 yard area and makes more runs than Giroud. Although I agree its harsh to judge him so early and he needs that 1st goal

    Bit fuming today. Ankle injured so only got about 40 minutes of a game but they feckin played me out wing when I'm a striker. Consistently the highest scoring in training etcetera but since I'm able to run (not very fast but our other two strikers can't actually run) I get turfed to the wing. Raging. Never mind me, just having a grumble!

        Nah it was a mess today, it's usually a 4-4-2 formation but they decided to go 4-5-1 which left a lone forward very isolated. They took off our other winger since he kept drifting into the centre and crowded the middle. So I get moved there. I mean I don't think I'm particularly good yet at all, I do score though and I was just disappointed having spent all week recovering my ankle to play and then don't get to play up front. Will hopefully be better next week anyways 😀

        Definitely 😀 Ah just having a grumble, was disappointed that since I'm the one of the strikers who puts so much into fitness it means I don't get to play there today (as in it would have been better if I couldn't run at all since they'd have to stick me up front.) But sure, still early days and all of that just grumbling as I said 😀
