Calling WCers. What's your curren front 3? Need a gauge. TY.
Open Controls-
If I were to Wildcard i'd have RVP--Tevez--Berba
Open Controls-
even wiht tevez being rotated?
Open Controls

Berba Tevez rvp
Open Controls -
RvP Tevez Berba
Open Controls -
Kung Berba Lambert for me. If I was on WC I would be tempted by that
Open Controls-
The first one is Aguero (Kun)
Open Controls

RVP, Ba, Berb
or
RVP, Tevez, Ba/BerbOpen Controls -
Not wildcarding but it would be Ba, Zamora, Berbatov if I had the choice.
All definite starters all have a decent set of fixtures and Zamora and Berbatov rotate well.Open Controls

-
Jaaskeliaan, Begovic
Lescott, Ivanovic, Demel, Gunter, Cuellar
Hazard, Cazorla, Pienaar, Michu, Guthrie
RVP, Tevez, Lambert
Thinking of pulling the trigger on
Baines -> Lescott
Cuellar -> Nelson
Only got .1 to spare so thinking of doing it now - worth the 4 point hit?Open Controls-
Looks good to me.
Open Controls -
reading that as lescott->baines is that correct? personally would bump ivanovic instead of lescott. check out citys fixtures, they are gonna start mopping up CS.
i am also very interested in nelsen, do you know if he's nailed on now? 2 blanks at start of season worrying me a little!Open Controls-
You are right but City arent quite gelling yet, there's also questions for me about whether Lescott will play every game........ hes been dropped a couple of times.
The great thing about Baines and Ivan is I will get attacking points.
Not sure about how nailed on Nelson is BUT Hill will surely be dropped firstOpen Controls-
true but lescott is an attacking threat himself from set pieces. to be fair i think both will prosper and lescott rotation doubts are legit. sound transfer either way, baines is a monster

Sorry, lost on last page:
My first red arrow of the season
Thoughts on my team?
Jask, Green
Baines, Demel, Ivanovic, Cuellar, Gibbs
Hazard, Michu, Kagawa, Toure, Kaca
Torres, Tevez, Berb
Players that I think need to go first are Torres and Green and maybe Tevez.
I’d like to do Tevez to Aguero so could downgrade Torres to Fletcher, Ba or Jelavic if he’s fit next week.
Or should I just switch Torres for free.Open Controls-
Tevez will start away at Fulham, I reckon. Torres has been so frustrating and there are so many good cheaper strikers on form.
I'd do Torres >> Ba which will free up some funds you can use to upgrade Green, etc.Open Controls
-
-
If I'm going to ship Tevez and give myself some change to upgrade Rangel to Rafael next week, who'd you get?
A) Fletcher
B) Lambert
C) BaOpen Controls -
Anyone else got Tevez and Torres and wondering if the time is right to swap?
Open Controls -
Help required folks!!
I have 2FT.....what 2 would you transfer out of this bunch???
Federici
Friedel
Cuellar
Boyce
Michu
Noble
Torres
GrahamOpen Controls-
-
But is it worth wasting 2FT???
Open Controls-
Of course it's wasting 2 FT. Most of these guys are just WC happy and it's horrible advice for most players including you. For one hit you can change out three players--20% of your team, with four not playing--- that's almost a third of your team.
Open Controls

-

I'd take an 8 point hit on top of 2 ft. Get rid of Torres, Graham, Cuellar and Freidel. Get Ba, Baines and cheap 2.
Open Controls -
Graham, Torres and Fed or Friedel IMO for a hit
As Cuellar should be back soon and has good fixtures
Boyce will come good soon
Michu id have even on a WC
Noble cheap enough to benchOpen Controls-
Cheers. I've been thinking of keeping noble and waiting for when i do wildcard. I will maybe lost .1 on him

Cuellar and Torres only.

🙁 I figure out the 2 FT that I need to do I think. Parm, JK, Captain Shirokov and Lateriser agree on it. Would like to know your opinion.

Who is most likely for a CS? Villa at home againt WBA, or WHU away against QPR?
Reason is that I'm bringing in Baines this week, and I need to get rid of Lowton or Reid.Open Controls-
I'd keep Reid, tbh. WHU will keep more clean sheets than Villa would, over the course of the season and definitely over the course of the next few GW's, given their run of games at home.

I've got Pienaar and waiting for him to explode. Had expected Fellaini to fall off a bit at this stage but seems to be liking the hole. Personally I think Pienaar is a better player but Fellaini might snake the points.
Open Controls-
Yeah, agree...waiting for the backlash/karma for the sketchy goal he (Fellaini) got this week. Besides, I anticipate he will fall back into the yellow/red card talisman again...

I can do Cuellar out, Baines in tonight, but I'm worried he will be injured against Leeds on Tuesday. Do Everton have another left back they can play? Chances of a rest for Baines?
Open Controls -
de Gea price drop tonight. Anyone replacing him. I'm thinking Cesar. Already have Jaask
Open Controls-
Begovic
Open Controls-

hmm, well he's at home this week.
Open Controls

Just took my first hit of the season for that very move.
Open Controls-

Nope. Cesar. Got him and Jussi. Probably won't touch them again for the rest of the season.
Not ideal, but keepers are necessary evils, not points machines.Open Controls

How do people feel about early transfers? Tempted to do Lennon >> Fellaini / Pienaar before the price rises. Reckon Fellaini will rise by another 0.2 by next GW.
Open Controls-
Always transfer early. You will get burnt a couple of times a year but the value rises will pay off hugely later on.
Open Controls-
I am usually a (late) Friday night manager. I wait to see the news, injuries, announcements...generally I have steered towards certainty over the value.
Is the general consensus here that people transfer early?Open Controls-
If the player you know you want is rising do it but don't get someone just because they will rise if you don't really trust him as you'll just end up taking hits to move them on.
Open Controls-
In this case it will be to bring Fellaini or Pienaar, and I would keep them for the short / medium term for sure (until GW 13 likely).
Open Controls
-
-
I agree with this though it seems we may be in the minority
Open Controls

i'd do that one early. thinking of getting pienaar in tonight myself
Open Controls-
The thing is I am leaning Pienaar over Felaini in which case I may be happy to eat the 0.1 price rise indeed.

How many WC have been played-- I guess almost 500,000. I haven't kept count, but remember some weeks over 150000 , then 75000 this week.?
Open Controls-

So probably a third of all active players. My guess is about 400,000 have ceased playing already or are just checking in once every other week or so.

I had 2 free trannies just before the window shut. With the 8pt hit I'm planning to take this week, I would have changed:
Fabio, Nasri, Zabaleta, Graham, Kagawa OUT
Baines, Yaya, Demel, Berba, Pienaar IN
£0.00m in the bank. Maybe I'm kidding myself, but seems its worth a strategic couple of hits to take? Won't be able to afford it other wise with Berba rising this gw window.Open Controls-
That's 12pts. Still probably worth it
Open Controls-
Ignore me...
Open Controls

Berba, Pienaar, Baines - big fan.
Demel - not sure, would have thought there's something slightly more exciting - or if not, go even cheaper.
Yaya - agree with Corrigan. You'll hear different from lots on here I'm sure - but I think, like Fellaini, he's prone to drop back - eventually, to accommodate Nasri and Silva.
I did Nasri > HBA last week. But I'm pretty sure I'll have him back in at some point.Open Controls

What would you do with this lot?
Federici and Vertoghen are Pi55ing me off!!

Lescott's scores this season so far: 1, 0, 2, 2, 11. Guess which week I benched him.
Open Controls -
Doos.
Jarvis. Talk to me.
Will he start starting this week or should I ditch ASAP?Open Controls-
Doos hardly knows what he is talking about most of the time!
Open Controls -
I dunno. I am at my wits end. Why Collins? Why O'Brien? Jarvis is the best player, bar one, we have on our books.
I am beginning to think I will have to mount a putsch, for real. 🙁Open Controls

Foster or Cesar to rotate with Migs?
Open Controls-
Well one keeps clean sheets and the other doesnt
Open Controls -
Foster doesnt rotate well with Migs. Al Habsi does tho 😉
Open Controls-
Foster rotates brilliantly with Migs, only misses 4 games I think h/a wise
Open Controls-
Yeah, I thought so too--are we missing something?
Open Controls -
Yep GW's 8,9,10 and 11 so not worth the transfer at this stage
Open Controls-
I see what you mean, but all but GW8 are good matchups for both of them, so the kind of keeper problem you like to have. 😉

@Parm
I'd stick the plan and do Hazard to Cazorla GW8.
We've discussed the fixtures already, but further to this I would argue that Chelsea's attacking points could come from across the midfield, Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Ramires, Lampard, Marin, Moses. They will all expect some gametime and it'll be hard to predict who will get the points.
Cazorla is absolutely central to Arsenal. We know they have nice fixtures and are still gelling as a unit. Everything goes through him and he's on most set-pieces. When Arsenal get their act together he will rack up the assists in the same way Silva did at the start of last year, but, given his role in the team he will also get far more goals than Silva.Open Controls-
Well what would you do this week then?
Noble to HBA is tempting, I also have the option to bench HBA GW7 at home to United.Open Controls-
hmm, tough call. Given HBA's fixtures after this week I'm not sure it's worth it. That being said I don't fancy Maloney or Noble this week. I'd keep some cash aside to shift Hughes to Gibbs/Sagna as well.
Think I might look for a Sunderland mid, either Larsson or McClean. Wigan at home this week. Unless you want the Everton triple with Fellaini. HBA could still be a good option, but the fixtures really don't look good.
That's why I'm glad I took the hit this week. I can save my FT and keep 1 stocked for a while and Noble is now my bench fodder.Open Controls
-
-
What about Tevez to Podolski and keep Hazard? Podolski instead of Santi. Cheaper too
Open Controls
-
-
Ok transfer done. Lescott out Baines in. Take the goal and run. Waiting for one more week was also wise move. Hope it pays of. And Baines never produces whenever I own him. Law of averages says he might not bring pts next week but long-term it is still good move.

Alan Pardew admitted afterwards that he wanted one of his two regular penalty takers, Demba Ba and Hatem Ben Arfa, to take the penalty. That may have happened had the Newcastle manager not been serving the final game of a two-match touchline ban for pushing referee’s assistant Peter Krikup during his side’s victory over Tottenham last month.
As a result, when Newcastle won a penalty in first-half added time, neither Ba or Ben Arfa took the kick. It was a fascinating moment.
Ba had bemoaned the fact Ben Arfa had taken the ball, in a moment of confidence during that Spurs game, to score from 12 yards. Thus this time, when Steve Morison upended Mike Williamson, Ba went looking for the ball, only to find the stand-in captain Jonas Gutierrez with it. He gave it to Ben Arfa and in turn, after deliberation, he tossed it to Cissé. The forward then blasted the penalty over John Ruddy’s crossbar and his confidence seemed to go with it.
“I like my penalty takers to take it, that would be a start,” said Pardew. “I could understand the group giving it to Papiss. It talks about the spirit in the group that they wanted him to score but it wasn’t what I wanted.
“I understand why they did that. They want Papiss to score. Players look after players. They genuinely wanted him to score the goal. The fact he missed it was a blow to the group. We felt it in the dressing room at half-time. That was why it was important to ignore it.Open Controls -
Any other Saints fans here? Anyone at the match and didn’t think Ramirez was best player on the pitch? Lambo was great, but amazed when MOTD highlighted him and not Gaston. Two fantastic balls he played to put us 1-on-1, weren't even shown.en shown, as one wrightly and one wrongly were given offside.
Fantasy rewards don’t always reflect real-life footy, but right now I don’t care, he was class apart. Our front four all played out of thier skins (Lambo / Lalla / Puncheon / Gaston) in second half, but wow! Not usually this gushy, but just confused by MOTD highlights and player focus, anyone at the game could see Ramirez was a class apart.
Real problem though, haven't got Fellani yet either. So Fellani, or Ramirez?Open Controls
