Better late then never. In truth, there’s nothing comfortable about this one. We had some nightmarish technical issues that had me tearing at my receding hairline tonight but, we got it done. Just.

The route of the problem was a change of scenery, as Granville and I resorted to staying on home territory to record this latest episode. There was a chance it would end in tears; it almost did.

It is, at least, a bumper episode, with just over 45 minutes of myself and Granville grumbling amidst the regulars on Wednesday evening. With his three point lead at the top of our mini-league, the fact is I couldn’t bear to face my Mancunian rival to discuss the merits of an early wildcards versus points hits, lament the demise of Carlos Tevez and chat about Granville’s night attire.

Grab this online experiment here, or stream using the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Alreet lads

Don't worry, you won't have to put up with anymore will i, won't I, for my WC. Pulled the trigger this morning, and its like a massive weight has been lifted.

    How is my masterpiece?

    Foster, Begovic
    Baines, Gibbs, Rafael, Saylor, Clyne
    Bale, Cazorla, Barfa, Fellaini, Pienaar
    Suarez, Berbatov, Lambert

You are all probably bored with my reasoning, but i can explain the reason for any player if asked
I'm not sure on rafael and clyne. I also considered Olsson/Wilson/.Demel rotation but don't know what I would do with the extra 1.1m, other than upgrade Gibbs to Big Verm

jaask instead of foster or hughes instead of saylor would be my two ways of stretching for silva...

He's better than Yaya full stop, and considering you have Pienaar then he's better than Screech imo. Maybe get Screech with enough to get Silva when he hits form. Saylor to Hughes imo.

yeah but yaya more nailed on and has been doing very well recently, whereas silva still isn't back up to his best yet. why do you call him screech btw? hmm maybe.... or i could free up the funds later down the road. its not like silva will become explosive so an immediate necessity once he hits form.

why saylor to hughes? China Mag says saylor. cueller and rafa have a great rotation!

TW, Clyne over Cuellar is my sacrifice for getting Foster over Jaask. In my rotation I will need him to play a maximum of 3 games with good home fixtures, and even then, I could still bench him for attacking options (with poor away fixtures).

One idea for you mid would be to get michu for coverage for their two sweet home games, then switch to somebody who proves themselves. I would do this, but can't afford it

i gotcha. guess it could be worth it. you don't fancy hughes over saylor and keep cueller?

yeah i asked you about that below. i'm thinking i might just do that so i can make up my mind later. only thing i dont like is the idea of having a pre-planned transfer already! but i guess worst case i can just bench him and play the other 7 attackers as i'm planning on rotating anyways

is michu too expensive for you?

Yeah. I would probably get him for more of my everton mids,, if I could afford it. Then ship after his sweet home games.

One option I considered yesterday, was getting him in for Barfa. I would have just enough (zero in bank) to get barfa back in, but he is bound to go up in price over the next 3 weeks.

That wouldn't be a problem, as long as suarez flops, and I downgrade to a demba. But if he does well, and I want to keep him, I would have to mess around with my team to get barfa back in

Anyone else selling Hazard this week to raise funds for Baines? Or even just selling him regardless? Chelsea have torrid fixtures, which probably assures him gametime but I think Chelsea will struggle in these games. He also has so much competetion with everyone fit: Marin, Moses, Bertrandt, Ramires, Oscar, Mata and Hazard all vying for 3 spots. Some tough CL games aside of these too.

I was astonished RDM threw him on for 10 minutes against Wolves. What on earth was the point in taking that risk?

He does have the ability to score goals, technically good enough to score a decent number of goals certainly. I guess with your FPL history you have made some balsy decisions in the past to surge up the rankings. Sacrificing Hazard for Baines this week would seem like one that could make a huge difference. Could be worth it...

you will cry about points on the bench ALOT. better to have 1 cheap bench player and have 3 strong defenders so that you have a stong starting 11 and 3 cheap on the bench.

hazard is too expensive (9.6 max if i downgrade a def but would prefer to keep it at 9.1 so i dont have to change def) and his fixtures really toughen up. plus lots of rotation risk now

Ranks 1, 2, 4 and 5 of my ML have shipped out Tevez, and that too all of them for Fletcher at (-4). I still haven't used my FT and I'm almost set on saving it and reassessing Citys options after the Dortmund game. before I do my proposed Tevez ➡ Berbatov trade.

Sound alright? Or should I do the Berbatov trade this week. I don't fancy him to do much against City to be frank. Thoughts?

Thanks to all those who replied on the previous page regarding my Zamora enquiry...

Having received an influx of negative feedback from some esteemed members, I have decided to put that move on hold until I see some positive signs from QPR first...

Stubbornly, I still think that if QPR can regain some of the form they achieved at home towards the end of last season, then they would merit strong consideration for attacking investment...

    Thanks

Go for it if you think it's right. Imo Zamora is a much better fantasy asset than Suarez, and yet he is getting plenty of attention.

I'm going for lukaku and glen Johnson in my wildcard... need to add a few risky options to keep the fun in the game!

I also had bale, Defoe and Lennon for the last few and it didn't kill me! God knows how that would've been received on this forum but I didn't dare mention it haha . Meant I did OK on the week everyone did badly though

Morning lads. I am in a big dilemma with all these injuries and have no idea what to do. Injuries to Ridgewell, Morrison and Di Santo leaves me with no options. Add Buttner and Tevez to the equation and I might not have a starting 11 this week. I have already used the FT to get Baines in. Should I just sit back and hope my players start or should I go wild taking hits. Opinions?
