Cape Town is great, but early November is not summer yet. Feb/March the weather is better. Johannesburg has great weather at the moment with 25-28 deg, but then you are miles away from the sea. Durban maybe? Humid all year around.
Why not a tropical island? Mauritius/Zanzibar(might be a bit 3rd world for some people though...LOL)

BTW, CT is great with lots to do - nice beaches Clifton/Camps bay. Cape town waterfront for sight seeing and dining. Table mountain cable car. Raddison blue hotel for sundowners. Stellenbosch/Franschoek for wine farms and wine tasting.
