Sunday Dugout Discussion – Gameweek 6

After Saturday’s feast of action, we’ve just a paltry single encounter to pour over today. However, it’s a feisty Black Country derby between Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion. The Dugout Discussion is open, and the team news from Villa Park is in, and is as follows…

Aston Villa XI: Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Bennett, El Ahmadi, Delph, Albrighton, Holman, Agbonlahor, Benteke.

West Brom XI: Foster, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Popov, Mulumbu, Yacob, Gera, Morrison, Brunt, Long.

Darren Bent is the surprise omission from Paul Lambert’s side, with the England striker relegated to the bench. Albion’s Macedonian defender Goran Popov gets his first league start, and Chris Brunt and Shane Long are back in the side after missing the midweek Capital One Cup tie.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom is the place to follow all the drama, and it can be accessed right here.

WBA have one of the worst XIs on paper. Their performances are quite impressive.

Good defenders, solid enough keeper, two defensive mids in Mulumbu and Yacob, two creative mids in Brunt and Morrison...three decent strikers Lukaku, Odemwingie, Long

Underrated XI's. Ridgewell, for example, is slagged off by Villains, but he's excellent.

    Begovic Jussi
    Baines Gibbs STaylor Cuellar Demel
    Bale Cazorla Barfa Fellaini Kac
    RVP Tevez Lambert
    0.5 in the bank

    Thoughts...?

Will see how the city situation develops because with their fixtures I would like to squeeze in Silva somehow.

    Whats better:
    1) Barfa+Tevez+Gibbs
    2) Silva + Berbs + Gibbs
    3) Silva + Aguero + 4mln def

As a Burnley fan, I'm not wanting to say, but Charlie Austin will be an FPL darling next season - or maybe even from January.

Top scorer in all 4 divisions - something like 11 goals in his last 10 games for us. He'll undoubtedly move, for what I believe will (should!) be knocking on the door to £10 million to a Premier League team and he'll score for fun.

Just a heads up for us FPL fanatics!

After owning Bale since Jan, captaining him GW2 and then swapping him for Hazard, I'm not sure I can do it.

            Maybe Dempsey.
