There is nothing wrong with that D. Save your transfer. I for one have to start Gallas at home to Chelsea so I am also tempted to get another defender in. At the end of the day defenders don't get you much though. Its better to save it for a more important transfer.

Certainly not yet. Demel is on the bench for his country, so may well be fit for Southampton in case Gibbs doesn't make it back.
Worst case scenario you field Baines (qpr), Hughes (AVL) and Clyne (WHM).
Not too bad.
Another reason I would hesitate is injuries in international matches may still require transfers elsewhere.

I like Guthrie to Sterling personally. Guess you can't afford HBA for Fella?
I can, i have 1 FT, 1,1M bank. Sterling is better than Guthrie but you'll rarely play him
I'd get HBA in for their decent run of fixtures, unless you want the funds for elsewhere. You're right Sterling can wait. Though... If he's ever going to score, at home to Reading would be a good bet.

Much of a muchness, I reckon Pienaar will get points (say 5) against QPR and fletcher won't against stoke (2). Giroud will need to score in both to make a profit (6 + 6 - 4 point hit). But he's entirely capable of doing just that, plus bonus points... it's a gamble but could pay off.

you have RVP & Aguero, so hard to find money to go with 2 big hitters at midfield, maybe stick with your strategy. Transfer this week could be Demel to 3,9-4M defender who rotates well with Nelsen and Saylor.

if that slot is 3rd defender (you'll play regularly everyweek) then ShawX is worth money for goal threat, if that slot is one of 3 cheap defenders to rotate, i think you just get Wilson and save money

have dempsey in the side. not many returns yet, but i'm thinking that if ade begins to get starts, dempsey will be the main beneficiary, playing the same sort of role VDV did last season at times, but with a history of better returns in the same position.
have demps, hazard and tevez, 0.4 in bank and 2 free transfers this week. thinking about holding, but don't want to lose the FT this week so that i can do a double next.
