A lot of you are Anti-Yaya. Agreed he was playing in a slightly more defensive position last year, but in the last 2-3 games he has been playing CAM. Also what adds to this is Mancini bought Garcia and Rodwell, two more DM's which will probably mean Yaya playing further up the field. If you have a look at the Fulham game, Yaya played behind the striker.

There's good arguments for having him as he is a guaranteed starter and can deliver attacking returns when he's called upon to play a more attacking role in the game. But those consistent 2/3's will continue because City have too many attacking players for him to be getting goals more than he is.
Consistent over a season but not someone I'd have enough patience with. I bought him last year after the Swansea game because he had more shots than any other player that week...I think it was 10 shots or something which is amazing. But he didn't even score in that game...and the next match he did nothing. In fact he didn't score until November last year after that.
He can be instructed to play more attacking in games but I'd prefer to gamble on other players who are ALWAYS attacking and not defending/running about/tackling like he does.Open Controls

Yes of course players who are ending their career or past their prime will do worse. But with Forlan he became one of the best strikers in Europe after leaving OT. Berba was also frozen out and still has the required skills. I'd argue he's an even bigger asset at Fulham, where he is guarenteed starts and the main man. His stats are amazing so far at Fulham.
A better comparison is players that are not past their prime. And also age tends to make a player slower, but for players that do not rely on pace they can get better with age...eg Pirlo.Open Controlsi concur..
