In the next 24-hours we hope to go live with user’s custom statistics tables in the members area. If you’ve missed our previous posts about this, it’s a feature that we’re pretty excited about and one that really adds unique flexibility to the stats available to our Members.

In a nutshell, you can now create your own tables of stats for teams and players, using hundreds of stats available. You can save them to be retrieved every week for form analysis, you can even share them with the community and view other members’ creations, voting for the ones you find most useful.

We’ll be going live with a number of new tables that we’ve created and shared up but being able to make your own is the real beauty of this feature. From now on, for example, if you’re in a discussion on the boards and want to prove a point, you can create a table, share it up and post the url link for other members to see. Nice.

To find out how to do this and for a full rundown on this feature, view the little movie below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Highly unlikely as new teams would bring the average down.

yes I just joined the league and brought my score onto the 1st page?.

I suppose if other members of leagues wanted to scupper FFS league they could just join all the low scores onto FFS publicly available pin no. and the average would plummet?

            Don't get it

Advise please? I know my gk's need to be transfered out but 1 ft and wanted to save it for the next fixtures. 1.4m in bank but this is my first epl fantasy and ive used WC and have 16 transfers total.

      Cesar, (Cerny)
      Baines, Rafa, Ivan (McAuley, Jenkin)
      Nolan, Bale, Haz, Cazorla (Guthrie)
      Berba, Suarez, Lambert

      was thinking haz+suarez > RVP+Pienaar/morrison

Youve taken alot of hits. May as well get in either gazzaniga or mcartney in goals for 4.0 and just do your 2 transfers next week. Although united have stoke at home this week so youd want RVP

Looking for a solid upgrade option for Michu next GW is a headache. Already have Santi / Bale / HBA. Problem is Stoke have the best fixtures, none of the bigger teams have the best fixtures. Probably only Silva which is out of reach without a hit. So would anyone look to get in:

    A. Mata (poor fixtures)
    B. Utd Midfielder (rotation) or
    C. Simply hold Michu or downgrade to Walters/other?

I would repeat a common theme on this site that fixtures are not the golden chalice.

Football is unpredictable as are the different opinions about who will win any certain game.

I say go with your gut on all you know about your players and only transfer when you have totally lost faith in a player on the form that you have seen with your own 2 eyes.

Fixtures probably more important for keepers and defenders as their points are dependant on players around them. 1 goal conceded and their points are screwed and tend to concede less at home. An attacker in form, either mid or striker, will do well points wise against any opposition, home or away.

but fixtures can be relevant if you are selecting strikers for short-term pick and you should look no further than those facing, let say..Norwich atm. =)

I think Giroud is nothing special. 1 goal in 7 games and that against West Ham. if Wenger had faith in him he would have left him on for 90 mins every game. Gervinho isn't that great either but he's showing Giroud the way to go.

Giroud is a much better striker than gervinho and AW knows it. He's been easing him in and his performances have been steadily improving. He has more assists than any arsenal player too. Can see some big hauls coming now

the goals were from CKs.. every CBs go to the opposition box during CKs, mate. if u think that's enough for them to be called 'attacking minded', then it's really up to you.

So putting the ball in the back of the net from a corner is not attack-minded? Obviously from CB he can't be bombing up the wing with the ball and be as attack minded as a full back. But he scores goals, which is more than a lot of full backs do in PL. Have you ever actually played the game? Takes all types of players to score goals.

i think goal threats from CB is drying up in the PL... you no longer see Huth or Hange having a good go at goals via set-pieces nowadays. FB is the way to go, if you're looking for attacking threats from your defender.

I think wwill keep getting the odd goals from CBs as long as they keep coming up for corners and wide free-kicks. The trouble is that they are impossible to predict and will be few and far between.

I agree that FBs are a more consistent and reliable source of ATT points

      Riise

All of whom are more attack minded than Baines and Ivan. Ive watched Ivan play for years. No way is he as 'attack minded' as others, although he is picking it up atm. Baines isnt as "attack minded' as say Bosingwa who is always looking to get down the flank. Although he has ALL set pieces... but that doesnt mean hes attack minded.

What would you do with this team in the coming weeks (I'm not making any more transfers this GW)

    Foster (Fed)
    Hang Baines Gibbs
    Caz Haz Pien Sterling
    RVP(vc) Lambert Suarez(c)

    Bench: McCartney Cuellar Guth
    Bank: 1.2m

Having got rid of Dyer this week I'm thinking that my Guthrie problem needs solving ASAP too. However I need to generate some funds to do this.

    a) Haz>Mata & Guth>Walters/Morrison
    b)Suarez>Ba & Guth>Walters/Morrison

also which player would you rather have: Walters or Morrison? I'm leaning towards Walters

morrison, imho. waters is playing more in the flanks this season, yes he takes peno but Stoke rarely gets 'em. Morrison is playing in the hole, .4 cheaper & on song. enuff said.

I must confess I dont really bother with Stoke games other than on MOTD, but it seems from the article yesterday about Walters that when at home in a 4-4-2 he is still OOP, but away from home against tougher opposition he's playing on the right wing

Actually think your team is good, but I'd be considering a way to get Baines. His form is just too good to ignore

So the obvious trannie would be Cole>Baines and bank a tranny for next week.

If funds needed, perhaps get rid of Defoe who I feel is living on borrowed time with Ade waiting in the wings

Hammers v Southampton. 2 attacking sides with not the greatest defences, but Hammers home form should take them through 3-2.

Sunderland v Toon, 2 decent defences, 2 great keepers if Krul is fit. Probably a Fletcher v Ba shootout, 1-1.

Being pretty good doesn't always translate to FPL points. The kid may even get rotated when Suso emerges on the wing or when Downing finds some form. Sterling won't play every game this season.

McAnuff is actually a better shout than Raheem but it's tough having any Reading players right now, even Pog. They're going to lose a ton of games.

Evening! I was just over in Chicago for the Ryder Cup - amazing scenes!!

Top of your bin list should be Graham, Lescott, Guthrie & Noble.

Probably not worth a wildcard - instead I'd just bench Guthrie this week (Noble & Graham have decent fixtures so start them) and then make 3 transfers next week: Hazard, Lescott & Graham -> Bale/Santi, Rafael/Sagna & Ba (if that works price wise?)

            GJ -> uber

            McClean->Bale/Cazorla/Silva.

I don't like to recommend Micchu. He has a good pts haul already, plays as an OOP and I have a feeling that he will continue to score pts on a regular basis. 15 goals in La Liga gives him some street cred.

But Cazorla is an option in A) and B)! 🙂

I think Berbs seems great value, I'm just not sure of his short term fixtures, coupled with him coming back from injuries. From next week onwards he has: rdg, EVE, ars, SUN, sto, che, which imo doesn't really give any easy fixtures except for rdg (and we all know what Fulham are like away from home!). Perhaps he's a wait and see until GW15 or so?

Ba on the other hand has: WBA, liv, WHU, SWA, sot, sto, WIG, and
Giroud has : QPR, mun, FUL, TOT, avl, eve

Who do you see being the better fantaay for the Gunners out of Cazorla and Giroud? I had assumed Cazorla, without it being based on any real knowledge.

"fantaay" should be "fantasy option" (my two year old dropped his cereal in the middle of my typing that!)

Cazorla seems the far better all round player, but if Giroud gets up and running I wouldn't be too surprised if he outscored Santi in FPL. If he nails down a starting role, which is starting to look likely, then he'll be the focal point of our attack. It may even be worthwhile getting both for our nice little run of games!

Is keeping Tevez necessarily a good thing though? Surely he'll be sharing gametime with Aguero, Ballo and Dzeko? Berbs could be great, but as mentioned above, his short term fixtures from next week on aren't all that IMO.

he has great fixtures though so could be worth the risk. i agree that he COULD be rotated which is why i dumped hiim on my wc two weeks back. however for now i think he's a decent bet to play for epl games but you should def monitor that

i agree about his fixtures. though i feel he could punish those who don't get him these next two weeks. its those fixtures after that are putting me off just a bit.

top one is your wc team right? i'd have to say yes. though you can still make it better
huth isn't worth it. plus i wouldn't want to double stoke. get saylor or cueller instead imo
jaask or foster rotate great with bego
downgrade hazard to silva, hba or pienaar
then you can upgrade one or some of kaca/fonte/mccartney

Probably A. Ivanovic ties up too much money to be worthwhile, I think, especially now the fixtures have turned.

Though I think I'd have Hazard over Mata, so it's not that straightforward.

I got Ivanovic at 6.5. With how high up he's been playing I'm not really looking forward to cutting him but will if I have to.

Tevez was amazing value at 9 mil but if he's just gonna be part of the rotation game all season I'd rather just stay away from the whole Man city front line. Would u ever be able to confidently cap him or Aguero when they could be dropped in any game?

All the stats I've seen lately show Mata to be = Hazard. Mata's stats have been steadily getting better since he had a rest while hazard's have been a mix of highs and lows. I think Hazard is the more explosive player while Mata will be the more consistant over the season.

RVP is RVP and while I cut him to give my team more balance my team vale is at a point where having him doesn't totally destroy my MF/DF anymore.

Silva is a good shout over Mata/Hazard as he has the fixtures and seems to be playing himself into form but I'd rather be a week late with Silva than a few weeks too early. If I had him I prob would wanna stay away from the rotation hell that is Tevez/Aguero.

Gibbs if he can stay fit but he seems to be made out of glass. Rafa will prob replace Ridgewell in the coming weeks.

        thanks for the advice

mata - has tough fixtures and also has a blank the same week as lambert's blank
gerrard - honestly don't rate liverpool players fantasy wise... at least until they start to show some consistancy. has gerrard even gotten that many points? doubt he's worth the money
silva - he's on my radar but want to see how he does first. also have kags and valencia on my radar

but for the time being hba has great fixtures and until one of the manchester mids proves themselves to me i'll stick put

thanks for the feedback though. i really appreciate it!

Michu or HBA to Silva/Mata/Hazard then the other to sterling. No need to give yourself a benching headache every week. Think the main benefit of no RVP is to have 3 heavy hitters in MF and a well balance DF. The defence looks good. Maybe a tad too strong but not in a bad way. Will just have problems with how to bench.

Don't understand the Kolorov love at all. Dude will prob not start 20 PL games this season which means 5.7 is a crazy price to pay. I'd prob only look at him if he cost 4.5 max.

save a transfer this week. next week: michu and hazard out for bale and hba/pienaar
after that you can transfer out fellaini or gunter

getting in rafa could be another good move but i think you can wait a week or two as your other transfers will probably be more beneficial
