The first potential casualty of the international break has emerged, with Man City’s David Silva suffering an injury that forced him after just 13 minutes of Spain’s World Cup qualifier with France tonight.

Reports on the injury are, predictably, sketchy at this time with claims that Silva may have suffered a problem with his knee or hamstring. However, the Daily Mail’s Ian Ladyman has since tweeted that it’s Silva’s ankle that has taken the blow – an area which has haunted Silva: the player previously confessing that he has played with an ankle problem for several seasons.

City are now reporting the injury, suggesting a hamstring problem and stating that the player will be examined on his return to Manchester. At that point we should be clearer on the situation and whether Silva will be a doubt for the trip to West Brom on Saturday.

Roberto Mancini will be hugely concerned given that he has a host of players due to return for assessment prior to the weekend, including Sergio Aguero who will turn out for Argentina in Chile in the early hours of this morning. His worries will also include several of England’s lineup who look set to face Poland tomorrow evening after tonight’s postponement in Warsaw.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Evening guys. Any PS3 owners on here? Looking to extend my library a bit as I only have Uncharted, GTA, Red Dead, Ratchet & Clank, Fifa. Anyone recommend any of the following, yes or no....

    Infamous
    Batman Arkham Asylum & City
    Bioshock
God of War Collection & GOW3
    Resistance
Metal Gear Solid Collection & MGS4
    Battlefield 3
COD Modern Warfare (or any of the others? Would probably only get 1 of them)
    Max Payne 3
    Killzone
Assassin's Creed (Any in particular? Wait for the new one?)

The first 2 are great as is GOW

After that any and all Assassin's Creed games you can get. As for COD you may as well wait until the new one comes out next month

Highly recommend Batman Arkham Asylum & City, Battlefield 3 and Assassin's Creed series, 3 will be best played having played through all, you should get 1 & 2 pretty cheap now (Brotherhood and other I am not so sure about).

Infamous I couldn't get into, same for Bioshock, which is a gorgeous looking game, but I found a little hard to pay attention to (just me, by all standards it's a near perfect game). IGN video reviews are very helpful for choosing games I find.

It has payed off to stay cool, and Torres has a mental attacking midfield to support him.

But Arsenals fixtures looks promising, but then again, Norwich wont concede 5 goals in every home game.

I hate being in the lead, just getting steady points, no players worth transferring out. Not had a good week since gw3, but since the other guys are yoyoing my lead is still decent.

I guess the time will come though, when some lucker will pass by in the league. Then finally I will get back to bipolar weeks, crazy knee jerks, and using an unacceptable amount of time on FPL stats at work.

I think he's been on my bench every time he's delivered too. In fact, he may never have left my bench. Such is the nature of a 4.5 mid I'm afraid. Encouraging that we picked a good player in the first time though, and that if he is eventually subbed into our teams he'll be in form!

(I'm still not sure he gets past Duff, Ruiz, Rodellega at the moment)

Still. More inclined to keep now than look at e.g. Sterling

    interesting info about Ivanovic

serbian media says that he didnt want to start todays game cause he were in fight against Coach Mihajlovic (cause Mihalovic blamed Ivanovic for 3-0 loose against Blegium)

Mihajlovic also atacked Kolarov and he critised his offesive runs 🙂
