The Custom Stats table feature is now live in the Members Area and available to our Members.

In case you missed the beef on this, you can view this article for more information but the quickest way of getting to grips with it is to view the movie below which shows how the feature can be used.

We’ve gone live with a number of tables that we’ve created to demonstrate what can be done. These tables analyse areas such as the crosses supplied by defenders, the distribution type and success from goalkeepers, the aerial prowess of forwards, the top creative midfielders based on chances created per minute, the top penalty box dwellers and predators and analysis of touches made by Premier League teams by area of the pitch.

There’s also a couple of team specific tables included – an analysis of where Man United’s players are receiving the ball, while Big Dunc has created a table offering a breakdown of Everton’s key attacking players based on goal involvement.

That should give you plenty to get your teeth into, whilst handing you some examples of what can be created and shared. It’s now over to you to build your own tables and start sharing them up with your fellow members, whilst casting votes on your favourite tables available.

While we’ve worked pretty hard to iron out bugs, you will appreciate that this is a complex feature, dealing with a huge amount of data. Should you spot any bugs or issues, please drop us a line at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Finally a reminder, if you’re not already a member and want access to this feature, you can still sign up. Click here for information on how to register or upgrade.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Silva injury has ruined my wildcard setup for this week. I've brought Duff in as stopgap but would like opinions please on the best fantasy option for this week only - plans for future game-weeks unaffected and money no problem. My other 4 midfielders are currently Bale/Sterling/Cazorla/Pienaar - with Pienaar currently on the bench as I have good Everton cover elsewhere.

Dealt with? Huge inconsistency in punishments, failure to deal with the issues before the media blew them out of all proportion? Liverpool donning T shirts in support of Suarez? Dalglish failing to recognise racist abuse? TV cameras and radios reporting on whether handshakes are made?

Not dealt with in my opinion. The issue is dealing with racism in football. The FA must take a long hard look at themselves as they deal with the u21 scandal and learn from it. Massive precedents need to be set.

Suarez had a huge ban and Terry has had a smaller but still significant ban. Should they had harsher punishments? Maybe, but thats not for us to decide.

I know what you mean, and I do honestly agree, but we cant just keep on re-opening these things. Theyve been and gone. Move forward. Suarez and Evra shook hands this season and seem to have put it bed so why cant we?

We dont bring up Pearce racially abusing Ince, or Schmicael and Ian Wright. Lets move on

Perhaps punished, however both were openly supported by people in high profile positions, Anton Ferdinand was treated by many as the guilty party, his family receiving death threats etc. The FA state that what Terry said was raciest, however he is not a raciest. All a load of crap.

lost on last page, but seeing as i spent a while typing it thought i would put it up again, and as I don't do many serious comments you should feel honoured 😉

      with regards the serbia situation.
the desire to ban the country from football will have no lonng term effect, in fact it is more likely to increase their resistance to change.
this is not a simple fact of a team and supporters. This is a country and society with a long history of violence and agression, both for and against. This then breeds a closed off and defencive environment. Result being all of the future generations have only one method of influence on their behaviour. To ban them would take the racism out of the game but would not take it out their society.

Behaviorism is a school of thought in psychology based on the assumption that learning occurs through interactions with the environment. Two other assumptions of this theory are that the environment shapes behavior and that taking internal mental states such as thoughts, feelings and emotions into consideration is useless in explaining behavior.

This is a related theory as to the reasons for their behaviour, in short it is learned behaviour. This can only be changed through access to other behavioural influences. Classic case being the influence of social media on so many countries that were previosuly issolated from western society. (have your own arguements as to western society being a positive influence or not)

I am afraid like it or not, integration is a rough journey at the start for all. so if you take the supporters, players and officials as a collective then they all require this structure of help/ support.

Or we could just ban them and it would move Scotland one place higher in world cup group.

Or you could argue that removing football (a perceived reward) would provide negative feedback and make the individuals less likely to produce the behaviour in the future.

i am afraid that doesnt happen in this case, the behaviour is so deep within their culture they wouldnt relate the punishment as that. The football ground is only a vehicle for expressing their views, if you take that away they still have same views.

No. I'll put it on my watchlist.

I understand that the problem is ingrained in society but I think punishment and reintegration is a better signal to send out than acceptance and attempted rehabilitation in this case.

I think especially as their FA has reacted so terribly to this.

'To ban them would take the racism out of the game but would not take it out their society'.

Banning them would send out a strong message to all. You seriously think not banning them will help them change their attitudes?

not what i am saying, even if you do ban them, it doesnt change the culture. Honestly brighter people than me have studied this stuff and this is their findings.

Ban the fans from attending games and ban the Serbian FA from world football/don't recognise them until they implement education/government influence speaks out against racism.

I can't see any other way. Sounds like you are informed on the subject of behaviorism, can't argue with the need for education/support

I think i remember reading after the violence in italy that the Serbian football games were being targetted by groups with political agendas who had very little interest in supporting the national team. Their aim was solely to disrupt games and bring negative press to the Serbian football team and the country as a whole and ultimately discreditting the current Serbian government. I dont know how much of this is fact but its what i read at that time.

Just a note that behaviourism as a school of thought fell out of favour around the 1960s when it became clear to everyone that ignoring mental states is a rather silly way to try to understand human psychology.

Also, my point from the other page is that this isn't just about changing Serbia. It's about protecting players from abuse by only asking them to play against opponents who offer reasonable guarantees of protection. If Serbia don't want to take the issue seriously, fine, that's up to them. But the rest of the world won't expose their sportsmen to it.

Football provides these scumbags with a stage to express their hideous views, take it from them. If you are Serbian and wish to be racist, do it in your own country, and out of the limelight.

Just a quick one from me, any chance of a FPL Price filter on the list? For instance I want to make a 'Makeweight Midfielder' table with all the stats comparing midfielders who are 5.5m or under only, this way if I need a bit of extra money I can see who is the best option rather than getting Sterling like everyone else 😉

Yes indeed, we're on this and will be adding price and ownership to use in criteria. There's work to be done as these are not values in our db right now but I'm hopeful we'll have this next week.

Wow. Very impressive indeed. Well done to all the people who made this

Rather surprising ( and disappointing ) to see who is the top midfielder ranked by minutes per chance created.

Arsenals likely forward line vs Norwich?

Pod - Giroud - Gervinho likely

AOC or Ramsey could maybe play RW, but that's less likely, imo.
