Sunday Dugout Discussion – Gameweek 9

It’s a blockbuster Sunday in the Premier League, as two city rivals and two championship rivals face each other in back-to-back games. The Dugout Discussion opens for our first game, the small matter of the Merseyside Derby…

Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Naismith, Osman, Neville, Mirallas, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Liverpool XI: Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Agger, Jose Enrique, Fernandez Saez, Sahin, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez.

David Moyes gets a huge boost in the form of Marouane Fellaini, who has passed fit and starts up front for the Toffee’s. As for Liverpool, they welcome back Pepe Reina but opt to leave him on the bench, meaning Brad Jones keeps his spot. Elsewhere, Jose Enrique gets a rare start courtesy of a Glen Johnson injury picked up midweek.

Before proceedings at Goodison Park conclude, Newcastle United host West Brom, and Southampton welcome the visit of Tottenham Hotspur (both games kick-off at 3p.m). Arguably the biggest game of the day kicks off at 4p.m however, as Manchester United travel to table-toppers Chelsea.

Follow all the action as it unfolds in our Dugout Discussion chatroom, which is open and can be accessed right here.

Lennon was more unlucky, denied worthy assist, Defoe misses just 1 point.

True, I meant in real life, he didn't look to happy and I'm sure he'd have preferred a goal to an FPL assist.

Worst transfer of the year for me was Ba > Giroud two weeks ago although I did avoid his OG last week. I thought to myself nor and QPR was SURE to provide plenty of goals. Sigh.

Got to love Defoe turning away in disgust and not celebrating his team scoring just because it didn't go down as his goal.

    Attention all Ba(c)'ers...

My gut feeling from this weekend was that Ba would get 13pts, that's why I went him over Bale... one more goal would surely see that come true...
